Why aren't you listing HotSpot connectivity as a plus? That's a massive game changer. Imagine running the 8110 as a hotspot for a phone/tablet running Windows 10 x86. That alone turns this phone's objective worth at least 200$.
I am using Nokia Phones from 1999, Currently using Nokia C5 (S60), Seriously I am big fan of Symbian, why Nokia not re-launch keypad phones with Symbian S60 & S80 Series in mid range phones. My whole group are very excited for Nokia's feature (Keypad) Phone with Symbian for calling usage. Main benefit of Symbian is hazel free Unlimited Contacts & upto 30days call log.
Using the phone Since 3 months, noe even a single operation is fully operative/handy.I mean even calling and messaging. The worst of my phone is KEYPAD you just cant type what you want,i will give 0.00000001 rating

Nitin Harchekar, 23 Sep 2018Waiting for the Nokia E series phones with KaiOSYES! Something like E52
For Long days I have searched a feature/basic phone but it will have wifi/hotspot so that I can use internet into my personal computer because I dont like smart phone where no key present for typing. At last I found Nokia8110 and happy for that. Other hand operating system is slow and have shortcut key for phonebook. However respectively NOKIA will develop this device to keep in mind of like such kind of user. We are using phone for simple voice communication , sms and PC internet just. We are happy to get it.
This phone is too slow...it takes long time to display contact list...no shortcut for finding contact...after 2 days i resale the phone with a dig discount......its a loss project...so u r requested not to buy this phone
great little phone when i rec calls to my 4g tablet they get fwded to the 8110 so im free of social media...Heaven
mrfone, 09 Aug 2018I agree with you. I think the Asha OS as used on the Asha 501was the best feature phone OS of ... moreI agree! I had Nokia Asha 311 with Asha OS back in 2012 and it was simple with MeeGo-inspired Swipe UI. AMAZING!
Just curious about the picture no 3 in page 2. What type of the nokia in the middle (between 8110 4g and 8800 sirocco)?
mrfone, 09 Aug 2018The predecessor didn't have a spring action slider either. It was put on for the Matrix film. ... moreYup. Also note that though the spring mechanism is a nice gimmick, it is actually not very practical to fumble for a tiny release key, rather than just puling the slide down with your thumb when you grab the phone to answer a call - especially during night.
And the key would need to be rather tiny, not to risk accidentally activating it in the pocket, and/or when pulling the phone from the pocket...

Fayth, 09 Aug 2018too bad the cover keypad is not auto spring mechanism like the predecessorThe predecessor didn't have a spring action slider either. It was put on for the Matrix film. It was the 7110 which had a spring loaded slider. The original 8110 was an expensive phone and as this phone is relatively cheap I suppose they could afford the cost.
