This is no flagship killer just like the Honor Play, but both are very poweful phones at an affordable price.... Can you enjoy the camera on thse phones as much as you would on a oneplus 6 or a Honor V8?

it doesn't have ir blaster look at the top of the phone and you will see that it doesn't exist

A much better option compare to many upper mid range devices, even if the phone doesn't get any updates the hardware will be very capable for a long time.

Unbelievable. The bad things is plastic back and no nfc only. But it doesn't matter for a truly $300 flagship killer. Thanks gsmarena team for review this pocophone f1 so quickly.

Well,recently I`ve read about Xiaomi`s plan to overtake Apple at No.3 spot smartphone manufacturer...by the end of the year...I really think that Xiaomi will sell milions of this great phone because Xiaomi is the only manufacturer right now who can offer this bang for your buck...For $300 price what can Samsung or Apple or anybody else offer?Nothing comparable...Brilliant job,Xiaomi,I hope that I`ll be able to unload $300 or little more for this great device..Of course,when it comes to EU it`ll be $500,surely,but hey,you can always order one from China and save a lot of $$$...well done,Xiaomi

Thought Poco was short for Pocketable Computer. Anyway, Water proofing, NFC and OIS are mandatory so release a plus model. And while at it make the panel AMOLED.

I used to get 8h of SoT playing Vikings, Shadow Fight 3 and Alto. Now I'm lucky I get 5 with OP6. And battery is only 23% bigger so that argument of yours is invalid.

Hari23 , i know you own an oneplus5 or 6 etc. ( Atleast your comments make me say ) , I have a readmi 1S for last 4 years absolutely no problem ( I have been to xiaomi center ( For MI Watch ) , and i have seen the complains almost 90% of complaints were from people who don't use case ( Naked ) and come with cracked Glass , damaged after slight fall etc. As long as you use a good case , your Xiaomi will not require any repairs , you can also look outside for strong case ) for long i knew Oneplus was looting customers at least by good US$ 170 - US$ 200 , but since it had rave review and top selling premium phone i never put my thoughts here , if anyone remembers the now defunct Letv LeMax 2 that used to come with Snapdragon 820 & 21MP Sony Sensor at U.S. $ 240 - 250 /- when one+ 3 - 3T was no less than U.S. $ 450 .
Oneplus went away with inferior cameras ( Remember One+ 5T ) , inferior AMOLED FULL HD at price of Quad 4K AMOLED , narrower 19:9 screen despite the premium price tag , its no longer actual flagship killer but no one wanted to touch / tinker with competition afterall it cuts margin , so they would offer phones at half price with premium midrange chipsets. Honor tried to do with Honor Play till POCOPHONE Xiaomi cut it off.
This PocoPhone has its shortcomings to cut cost like single good camera (IMX 386) , though a good sensor but the 2nd camera is just for depth effect (Show-off , no real world effect ) it was better if it had telephoto 2x lens , the same cost cutting one sees in One+ 6 ( Saving cost of R&D on telephoto & calling it for low light performance ) , then OK DAC in Headphone Jack ( They have provided 3.5mm JACK that itself is praise worthy ) , I have to tell you superb unbeatable price for what's it offering if you use a good strong body case & Kevlar back ( Even if you have good case you don't need Kevlar ) ,this phone will work easily for 3+ years without problems.

A real high end at a mid range price, GSMArena forgot to share that: Internal memory is UFS 2.1 (High speed), LPDDR4X Fast Ram,,,,this phs a real beauty!! These Xiaomi guys are doing real magic here.

People usually go for phone which have all features of a costly but the rate of that is half of the costly one they don't think the durability and longtime performance of their phone for example if u buy take pocco phone it is 15000 less than op6 but op6 will last for much long period than pocco u can take apple also and galaxy series my advise is that don't fall for their low price compared to other premium phone brands
