Instead of wasting $300 on this ugly plastic phone. You can instead buy the metal-bodied Honor Play for almost the same price, yet it is far more premium looking than this, and has similar specs.
OnePlus had grown to be too expensive as the years pass.
A small thing always means bigger and better goals.
Ayush kumar, 22 Aug 2018I am unable to think how they were able to get the snapdragon 845 with 6GB at a price of just ... moreI feel honor play is not worth the price. In comparisons with oppo f7, both are opening appsand games at almost same speed, with marginal increase or decrease in both. And realms 1 is available with the same p60 processor like f7 but with half the price of honor play
As the previous droid maxx and droid turbo user, am I glad that kevlar is back in the game. I'm seriously considering this phone to replace my aging xperia xzs.
I am unable to think how they were able to get the snapdragon 845 with 6GB at a price of just INR 21,000. It is just incredible by xiaomi but i feel so sad for "honor PLAY" it is a great device but with pocophone xiaomi has taken all the limelight from Honor.
Damn, Xiaomi! Didn't expect you guys to make the most complete affordable flagship ever! This phone is near perfect!
Hope the next MIUI Default theme can finally add the app drawer.
Xiaomi FINALLY woke up to it's senses and added the app drawer to it's Poco MIUI theme!
Droidtard, 22 Aug 2018But guess what. It uses the same low quality LCD display, microphone and speakers like other X... moreErr did you even read the review ? The screen used in the Pocophone has a highly calibrated display with an average delta of 0.9 which is incredibly accurate.
The Mi A2 lite has an average delta of 5.1 which is not very good. And the higher end Mi A2 has an even worse calibrated display.
So to sum up your post is highly incorrect and the Poco F1 has a highly calibrated display and is much better than the lower end screens.
Hey I can’t see the phone rating (like 4 out of 5) when viewing on the mobile website. It just shows up filled stars. Would be useful to have the value considering you give ratings like 4.7 out of 5 (like with the Note 9).
IAmLigma, 22 Aug 2018The displayHave you even held the phone? The review says nothing about the display so far. Who are you.
No NFC??? Oh man, they were so close. But I'm not paying 300 bucks for a phone in 2018 that can't do contactless payments. What a shame
O S, 22 Aug 2018The Cons should also include; Plastic frame, let's see what Zack of JerryRigEverything thinks... moreIts LPDDR4X. I saw that mention in somewhere i cant remember. And also there budget Redmi Note 5 has LPDDR4X Ram.so there is no way they use cheaper once .hell even they used UFS 2.1 in this.So no way
this is absolutely unbelievable!!
best buy by far.
I really like this phone, mainly for its plastic back (I really hate glass !), large battery, and price. But if you need a good camera, the OnePlus 6 delivers way more in terms of low-light performance and it also has a much higher video bitrate (which means much better video quality).
AnonD-720877, 22 Aug 2018Because there is only two (yes 2!) [deleted post]Because there is only two (yes 2!) QC4.0 charger currently and they are too expensive (the Razer's is 50$).
This smartphone reveal how stupid is the industry imo even if it's a great deal for the customer (but don't believe you can buy it for less than 400€ if it's officially shiped in EU/US):
How the hell can a "high end" CPU ends up in a phone at that price ? It just means that this processor is cheap for companies and the snapdragons clearly lacked further developement and we could have a better line up of CPU/GPU whitout those ridiculous S4XX (and S630 or S625 which are still used by too many phones launched in 2018).
Even the S636 seems to use more power than this S845 (look at note 5 pro battery-score).
I don't get where is going the money.
Someone was talking about cars: imagine if the mustang was launched with its V8, 400HP and 4l/100km (70 mpg).
[deleted post]What do you have to say about the QuickCharge 3.0 used (you telling me to shut up, while you are the one who shut up and didn't refer to my comment about it)
Even Qualcomm admit that QuickCharge 3.0 sometimes overheats and overcharges your battery, which they corrected in QuickCharge 4.0
SD845 supports QuickCharge 4+ which is compatible with USB-PD why didn't they use that
The Xiaomi POCO F1 is best in the price range but to say it has no compromise is a blatant lie. I'm no Xiaomi hater, in fact, my daily driver is Xiaomi.
Xiaomi made some compromise to achieve this price, which is fine, really everyone does that. I was just stating some of them and asking questions of some specs that were not stated.
