POCO F1 4000mAh: 111h endurance rating
Mi Max 3 5500mAh: 115h endurancce rating
with screen size differing only 0.72" and the same display technology, it's quite surprising to see how much more efficient SD845 compared to SD636, as Qualcomm once said that their flagship tier is more efficient than anything below.
Ahong Surahong, 25 Aug 2018I guess part of it is from the MIUI, let's hope MIUI 10 can bring the endurance rating to >... moreHopefully.
Imperator Neubaticus, 26 Aug 2018Not bang for the buck. The mi max is a much smarter option. what are you talking about, this is a mi max
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2018Prefer 16:9, but don't get why 18:9 became mainstream. Its not that bad its close to 21:9 ratio which is cinema ratio and you can change the aspect ratio of movies you are watching to 18:9
Nicolas F, 25 Aug 2018It's not so direct, because Honor Note 10 is both more powerful and expensive)Even so, that hasn’t stopped the reviewers from comparing phones that have a higher price tag before
AnonD-632062, 25 Aug 2018I though the same thing, because the Honor Note 10 is similar in screen size & battery.Yeah, it’s a direct competitor
StormyParis, 25 Aug 2018This. I'm on a Mi Max 1, got a Redmi Note 5 for my brother and used it for a week... that's no... moreExactly. It dies have an AMOLED screen, making it ideal for movies
A rather very disappointing. Two generations & two years only to match performance & battery stamina of the first Max. Ain't going to get one.
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2018Honour note 10Not bang for the buck. The mi max is a much smarter option.
dvdivx, 26 Aug 2018This is why Xiaomi and Huawei are still second rate at best: LTE bands supported: Mi Max 3: ... moreBecause the north american market is not a priority. Their own chinese market is more important, as well as the markets of neighboring continents. They're taking it slow but strategically. The US can wait. It's not as big an economy as it likes to think.
This is why Xiaomi and Huawei are still second rate at best:
LTE bands supported:
Mi Max 3: 1,3,4,5,7,8,20,34,38,39,40,41
Now lets see what that supports based on Wikipedia and frequencycheck
North America 2,3,4,5,7,12,13,17,29,30,40,41,42,66,71 Sprint only (25,26)
South America 1,2,3,4,7,13,17,28,38,42
Africa 1,3,7,8,20,28,38,40,41,42
Europe 1,3,7,8,20,28,31,32,38,40
China-India 1,3,5,8,38,39,40,41
Middle East 1,3,7,20,28,38,40,42
Australia- NZ 1,3,5,7,28,40
Asia 1,2,3,5,7,8,20,28,31,40,41
Japan 1,8,9,11,18,19,21,28,41
Sadly not much now compared to other phones:
Apple iphone8 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,11,12,13,17,18,19,20,21,25,26,28,29,30,34,38,39,40,41,42,66
Samsung s9 (us model) 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,14,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,30,32,38,39,40,41,46,66,71
Asus ROG 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,12,13,17,18,19,20,28,29,32,34,38,39,40,41,46
Google Pixel 2 XL Global 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,17,20,25,26,28,29,30,32,38,40,41,66
It's almost like they just dont want to sell phones world wide. Better than the first one but still a long way to go.
Gonna wait and see what honor 8x max offers.
Honour note 10
I really like this device as a media consumption phone, good job xiaomi!
Been waiting for this for a long time, but now that Poco F1 is released out of the blue I'll get that one instead.
Good device, not as good as the Poco though.
LG Superfan, 26 Aug 20186.8" 16:9 = 7.3 18:9 if that is what you were asking I didnt quite get itPrefer 16:9, but don't get why 18:9 became mainstream.
Nicolas F, 25 Aug 2018"32sec" ? Didn't understood, could you please explain?)Its shutter speed the time the camera shutter stays open, its in manual or pro mode on most smartphones and cameras the longer the shutter stays open the brighter pictures you get for example set the shutter speed to 2 seconda and take a picture now take the exact same picture with 32 seconds and latter will result in brighter picture probably even overexposed because 32 seconds is along time and you will need a tripod cause with longer shutters even slightest of camera shake will ruin your entire picture
Kiyasuriin, 25 Aug 2018Hmm... I wonder wwhat would happen if something that has a 6.8inch 16:9 would suddenly go 18:9... more6.8" 16:9 = 7.3 18:9 if that is what you were asking I didnt quite get it
No Poco F1 and Honor Note 10 as competition both are kind of direct competitors Poco becaue of price and Note 10 because of display size and battery size
