namla, 25 Aug 2018Side bezzels too much...Honor Note 10 has the same. I'm not sure smaller side bezels would be any good on a device of that size. You'd touch the screen accidentally a lot.
Plus remember that you have one BIG piece of glass on the front. The bigger the screen the easier it's to crack it by dropping or even a side bump. It's simple physics. You need solid bezels to disperse the shock effectively.

Nicolas F, 25 Aug 2018I think it's just because of more pixels in display =)Well, it's only a slight bump from 1080 X 1920 to 1080 x 2160. No jump to QHD or the like.

Plus battery was increased in the Max 3 too, hence I hoped so.

Apparently with MIUI it's a crapshoot which version you're on - one could be just fine, the next could drain your battery like crazy.

For people who want a Max's ample size, the only real alternative is the Honor Note 10.

Senju, 25 Aug 2018Why there is no review for Asus Zenfone 5Z which is launched months before Mi Max3???They have different reviewing priority for different brands. ASUS sits somewhere down below on that list. My friend has that phone & i can tell you it is wonderful. Probably one of the best phones you can buy in that budget along with the OP6 & the Honor Play (I personally don't like the Pocophone, so i wouldn't recommend that one).

Nice to see some larger than usual display on a phone. Believe it or not, there's always a demand for something unusual. Just like there's a demand for compact phones, there's also a demand for over-sized phones in budget category. This phone would probably wear the crown for offering the best on that criteria. More variety is always a welcome sight!

Great smartphone. Awesome battery endurance, although I must say I expected something around 130 hours endurance. Well, I guess the battery efficiency of the SD 625 in the Max 2 is legendary and cannot be easily replicated.
Good camera. I like the pro mode offers ISO and shutter speed, unlike in most other mid-range phones.
