Beware on xz premium - frame is polycarbonate, same plastic they use for head light covers on cars. Mine ended up getting bent and let water pour into phone and shorted out the backlight. Make sure you look up what the frame is made of on any specific model you are thinking about getting. I wouldn't have bought that model if I had known that before.

I'm Sony fans i have own from Xperia SP,Xperia Z2,Xperia Z3+,XZ Premium(currently using) and now im buying from online XZ3(still waiting it arrival) because Malaysia SONY never carry
i have use 4 type sony mobile before all overheat except XZ Premium(not sure is mine only or other user are same)
i believe XZ3 will be batter on overheat control
by the way Sony is good on entertainment (music,video) specially sound quality.Because of sound quality until now im still support Sony Mobile.
But other than that Sony just a average mobile brand compare with Samsung,Iphone,Huawei (Sony technology cant compare with those brand)
Have good also have weakness just depend what you needed.
By the way im still support Sony hopefully XZ3 will be a great phone. ^_^

I have bought every flagship brand of Sony but now I refuse to be cheated.Every phone I purchased for both me and my wife had recurring problems of overheating, faulty screen and Untrigerred playing of sound. I am staying away and will try other brands. I am thinking of Samsung.

And the 8GB ram how many windows and apps they will play and use at the same time? Are the ram management less efficient?

SONY is SONY. SAMSUNG is SAMSUNG. XZ3 and Note 9 have the best displays, best cameras, very good stereo speakers, excellent designs, etc. No phone is very good in everything, but SO and SAM are above average in everything flagship. Don't be jealous, that's the plane truth.
They are best phones to date , period!

The same design language from SP is the ambient flow and center camera..
But sometimes remind me to the Sony Ericsson's Xperia Neo. Almost identical, isn't it?
But the front face maybe inspired from XA. I use Xperia XA Dual for now..

..and sorry but I'm a sony fan and their audio output is not that spectacular or out of this world compared to others

Left Sony after the Z5 compact, mostly because of the bezels, it's LCD panel, +2.0 aperture, overheating issues.
Finally they used Oleds, so i maybreturn some day.
The sound is still great, but they lost the battery, c'mon, not even 3500mah, when most if the onoetution this year will go above 4000?
They still need to trim those bezels and use at least a 1.9aperture to convince me though...

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2018The sensors and processing were more up to date during the time of the v10, g4, g5, v20. Howe... moreyes surely. but the v40 is gonna have a 6.5 inch screen, that is a glitch...its way too big. and cant be sure about LG battery life either.
