Soooooo . . . .
Glass phone for no particular reason. No headphone jack as a big FU to customers who voted for it in a OnePlus poll.
Yeah, they've definitely arrived. Ignore your users and slavishly copy Apple.
Nice device, but nothing you can´t have at huawei and xiaomi for less. With a couple of omissions still present, not a flagship yet.
never liked oneplus at all. First no removable battery. No micro-sd, no fm radio, proprietary solutions, now no audio jack. They keep on leaving out features
Spemer, 29 Oct 201816:9, 18:9, 19:9, 19.5:9. What's next ffs? Marketing experts, I hate you. Sony Xperia 2019 lineup may be 21:9
alski10, 29 Oct 2018The screen max brightness is 200nits lower than the other amoleds (iphone XS and samsung S9). ... moreIt is not about brightness, some LCD devices passa 700 nits easily and sunlight ratio is barely above 3.000
Spemer, 29 Oct 201816:9, 18:9, 19:9, 19.5:9. What's next ffs? Marketing experts, I hate you. 2:1 (18:9) is OK, Netflix, amazon and other content creators support it. The rest are BS.
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2018Cons
-A proper telephoto/ultra-wide camera would be more useful
-Still no official IP rating... morePros
-one good camera is all you need, ask google or apple ;)
-ingres protection or better said “idiot protection” only rise the price, not make the phone better for normal ppl
-Maybe Dash is proprietary, but is light year ahead of competitive or better said qualcomm solutions which only heat up the battery. On the other hand lack of wirreles charging is not a big con when you had the best wirred charging around.
-Lot of manufacturers for years now didnt have a microSD slot,1+ had never had in the first place... stop complaining, take it as it is or leave -(same for stereo speakers)!
-3.5mm headphone jack... I will give this to you,big ommision
-Apple clone?!? Its 2018en everyone copyed from anyone,no originality anymore and this aplies to apple too!
-oh and almost forget.you can choose aluminium back for a change... one less glass to break
The screen max brightness is 200nits lower than the other amoleds (iphone XS and samsung S9). Almost -30% !
Im surprised it does not make it (significantly) less legible outside
This is most likely the worst OnePlus device ever made.
And by that I mean has the absolute lowest value compared to its ancestors.
It's not that this can't be called "flagship killer". This can't even be called flagship by fall 2018 standards.
- mediocre screen brightness + 1080p only resolution.
- paasable camera experience at best (not even close to real flagships)
- very poor audio features (no stereo speakers, no 3.5 jack)
- nothing interesting whatsoever (no water resistance / no wireless charging / no expandable storage / no infrared face scanner).
I mean come on, even the Poco F1 has more features and costs almsot half the price.
Tu summarize in one word this device is "settling" !

There's a reason for that. The phone size stays the same. Screen gets bigger. But there is only space for that up and down.
If it grew sideways, you could not hold the phone :)
Very cool device, nothing wrong, some nice specs and design. Only problem: Pocophone F1, it is almost half the price for about the same performance and not that much difference on other things.

Can the 6T play videos on Netflix and Amazon Prime in 1080P unlike the the 5T who could only play 540P?
Btw, GSM Arena folks, why don't you provide display magnification anymore? Or are all LED displays pentile nowadays? (As much as i know my Nokia 808 LED display has RGB matrix.)
It's pretty important as 1080p pentile displays are unwatchable, esdpecially nowadays, when 6" diagonal seems to be minimum.
Prasan, 29 Oct 2018Comparing OnePlus with launch price for more expensive flagships is no longer a realistic comp... moreThat is the problem to launch phones after July.
Those from Q1/Q2 are below $650 already.
SpiritWolf, 29 Oct 2018First time i will comment first and look for review later. Camera finally or not?Well, not disappointed (at least not much) but not exited also. Little noise doesn't worry me, as long as camera is capable to resolve SOME (a lot more than nowadays 12 mp cameras) detail. Nowhere near to Sony or Microsoft 19/20mp cameras but seems to beat most of 12 mp cameras in detail department. (Always look at foliage/grass. :) )But, but... what's wrong with lower right corner? Soft as girls cheeks.
"The move away from a 3.5mm audio jack has cost the OnePlus 6T a bit regarding loudness - the OnePlus 6 was above average both with an active external amplifier and with headphones, whereas its successor is average and below average respectively."
This is why the 3.5mm jack should be reinstated to where it belongs.
