Don't forget to mention in your full review that the rear camera had lots of scratches from lying on bricks...
Stupid people be like:
-It has a small battery
-It has a chin LOL
- It will break so easily
Meanwhile, Experts know:
- Phones like LG G7 come with the same battery size or even smaller and last a day nobody complains.
-Vivo Nex for example also has a chin, but when something truly innovative arrives, without a Notch, everyone has to shit on the chin. Also, did you idiots ever consider that the "chin" is probably larger on your Monitor than it is in real life? I was shocked when I got my Honor Play in my hands, yeah it had a chin but it was soo small.
-Again, and? Even Huawei Mate 20 Pro, that everyone seems to have an orgasm over doesnt have one but still has a giant ass notch. I would be much more upset with a notch no headphone jack and a "chin".
- Yeah it can break, like any other damn phone on the planet. Why dont you people just start caring for your devices, and dont keep dropping them, is it that hard?
And everyone saying: There will be no case because of the design, it even comes WITH A CASE!
Beautiful on the front, but The back side is so boring and ugly. Until when they will copy apple ipx design? It's now undistinguishable, repetitive, and boring as hell.

I had assumed this phone had 4000 mAh battery and thus i called it great. Upon finding out that it has a measly 3200 mAh battery (for a 6.4" screen phone), i have to reconsider my statement. Thats a major flaw with this phone. I'll wait for the full review for the actual endurance rating before giving my final verdict on it.
Don't like this new trend towards moving parts. I remember slider phones well and they were always coming loose
Professional, 25 Oct 2018Do you always copy paste your text?! I use a Mix 2 with 3400mAh battery,my sot is between 6... more6 hours..crazy???? We have p20 pro and mate 20 pro having battery of 15 hours..note 9 lasts 12 hours...please drop ur phone and better go back to pagers...
3000 mah battery for hdr screen...sorry how best camera u provide an big NOOOOO...since its cost is lower, we need to wait huwai to catch up an model woth 4000mah battery....why xiomi is failing in flagship but shining in low end is due to battery...they never realises it...an advise to gsmarena is to stop reviewing phones with less than 3500mah battery including so called google pixels....Samsung has improved to 4000mah..why not xiomi and lg and htc....no wonder huwai is leading in flagships..even oneplus now changed battery to 3700...why the hell these craps and pixels and sony still lagg..higher battery will push sales of oneplus again leaving xiomi and pixel to sobb
But in some other sites is mentioned a 3850mAh battery.
Who is right???
I've enough of this top-phones ruined by a skimpy battery...
Being a new format, at least you should have show how is the protective case..... You can't find any case out there for now, while with tradicional format they are even leaked before the release.....

... moreDo you always copy paste your text?!
I use a Mix 2 with 3400mAh battery,my sot is between 6-8h,so on par with other flagships!
The Mix 3 has a newer Oled screen,so the battery life will also be around 6-8h real life sot!
And an IP rating on a slider phone?!Really?!
The original Mi Mix was awesome. It had a large 4400 mAh battery and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Mi Mix 2 was shocking because not only did the STB ratio go down, not only did the 3.5 mm jack get removed, but the battery got CUT DOWN BY A WHOPPING 1000 MAH.
I don't think any company has ever had such a downgrade. Did they think we would not notice? The battery endurance got seriously affected too:
Mi Mix (4400 mAh): 97 hours.
Mi Mix 2 (3400 mAh): 65 hours.
Mi Mix 2s (3400 mAh): 59 hours.
Mi Mix 3 (3200 mAh): ????
Notice the poor, downward trend. What a terrible downfall....
10GB RAM is great, if for bragging rights alone, although I fear it may spark the next unnecessary RAM war in the smartphone realm.
Notchless, bezel-less screen is superb. The magnetic solution seems far better and more durable as Xiaomi claims. It would anyway be better than the Oppo Find X's solution. The Samsung-made AMOLED is much-appreciated too.
The camera game looks promising although it doesn't seem revolutionary. It is interesting that they are bragging about being better than Huawei Excellent Night Mode. If their hand-held long exposure shots live up to that claim, that would be awesome. 960 fps slow-mo is great too. The 2MP depth sensor in the front isn't of much practical use and we all know it's just there for the numbers game.
3200 mAh is terrible. The original Mi Mix had 4400 mAh.
"Xiaomi is forging its own path with this one, not following Apple's lead...."
Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. The omission of the microSD card slot and the ever-versatile 3.5 mm headphone jack is a huge deal-breaker. The additional lack of IP68 is also bad.
