So, sometimes the shots are not on pair with p20 Pro, I bet that's why they don't want to have Dxo score out.

I feel disappointed about their kirin 980.
Not only it does not achieve comparable results to Apple like Huawei claimed but it's even looses to Snapdragon 845 in graphics.
Next year snapdragon will surpass it big time.

Kirin CPUs are in between Snapdragon and Exynos processor. Not perfect and also cannot unlock the bootloader so a bad choice for custom rom enthusiasts..

Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an awesome smartphone, no doubts. Generally the only problem with it is the price. In the end of the day it's a hugely overpriced Chinese phone. And I'm pretty sure that "old" iPhone X is a way more advanced piece of technology and overall better quality phone for less money right now.

Every youtube reviewer who has extensively used the Mate 20 pro was amazed by the Mate 20pro battery. Despite that lovely screen and all that tech that mate 20 pro has, still manages to blow most of the flagships! I admit i haven't used Mate 20 pro yet but i can base my facts from many YouTubers who have actually used the Mate 20 pro, and all of them have praised its battery capability.

Why is everyone saying the M20 Pro has poor battery life when it gets 14 hours while web browsing? As web browsing/apps are what people mainly use their phones for nowadays, that's the number I'm mostly interested in. Compare the M20 Pro's 14 hours to other flagships with similar display size: Note9 only gets 12.5 hours and iPhone XS gets even less at 11 hours. Of course M20 Pro gets less battery life than the M10 Pro, it has a bigger screen with higher resolution and many additional features that all eat up the battery life. Considering all that I think the 14 hours web browsing battery life is great. Also to those people complaining about OIS, if the photos are still class leading without it and the video has great EIS, who cares?

Shanti Dope, 28 Oct 2018I've tried the Mate 20 in real life, and I was surprised to see some crazy pixelations even at... moreR5+ display is sharper than Huawei Mate 20 only on paper and just by 22 ppi - no human could tell that difference.
Also, I compared my R5+ to Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) - just the same sharpness of everything, and no imaginary "pentile artifacts".
And no, 500 ppi and QHD resolution are not necessary for any smartphone screens. Not to mention that overwhelming majority of video-content (especially tv series) is in 1080p, if not less. And download speeds had not pumped up that high to provide same time for downloading QHD or UHD.

I haven't seen any "pentile artifacts" on Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) in front of my eyes.

(And meanwhile stick to my beloved device. the Note 9) Until I will find a better alternate. SO FAR. the note answered all my needs. I kinda expect to the 10. but the 3.5mm jack removal worries me.
