This Mate 20 sounds big as well at 6.5" size, but when compare with my older Honor 8 pro 5.7" screen side by side, it has almost the same size body footprint! I love it and i think its the maximum size that i can hold & accept.

I'm more impressed with the camera on the regular Mate 20 than on the Pro. Definitely would buy it

Firefox, 02 Nov 2018Mate 10 has OIS, then why Mate 20 don't?Because it is harder to apply OIS as sensor gets bigger.
Nexus 6p, Pixel 1, Xperia and Mate 20 all are 1/2.3" ... None of them has OIS.
The 40MP on the Pros does not have as well.
OIS makes the module larger and thicker.

You can turn some pixel off but they still use space. This space can't be taken by the rest.

I should remind you though, that there is also the Mate 20 X, which has the same camera setup as Mate 20 Pro & also has a 3.5mm jack, so might be better for you if you don't mind the huge size of it.

M... moreIt's actually 91h with the Under-Display Fingerprint turned off (which eats up battery because it has to keep that screen area active all the time to detect fingerprints). So Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro have more or less the same battery endurance.
As for Note 9, that phone is running on 1080p by default so it's not a fair comparison. In 1440p mode, it's endurance rating would probably be equal to or lower than both the Mates.

No headphone jack either. I'll stick with Mate 20.

Excellent review! Everything is on spot and as i suspect, the cameras is not far off than the pro version.
I'm getting mine next week! In Malaysia its only $672. But i'm getting the local telco for only $505, $24 per month on 24 month contract, gets 40gb of data & free calls. Its a bargain!
