123, 07 Nov 2018xiaomi camera better than samsung one ?It's not like that... The camera module on all three of them use a Sony made sensor (IMX363 for the Mi Mix 3 & IMX345 for both the Samsung S9+ & Oppo RX17 Pro).
If you're asking about image quality, then personally i would rate them like this:
S9+ > Mi Mix 3 > Oppo RX17 Pro

SpiritWolf, 06 Nov 20181080p pentile on 6,4" screen? No, thank you. It's not that simple. The elongated aspect ratios of these phones significantly bring up the PPI of these phones.
For example, the PPI of RX17 Pro is 402 (significantly higher than 326 of the iPhone XR), so in the end, you end up getting a decent viewing experience.

Mok, 07 Nov 2018which better then, Magic 2 or this phone?Depends on your priorities. On the whole the Honor Magic 2 is better, but we don't know it's camera quality at this point.
I can safely say though that Mi Mix 3 is better than the RX17 Pro, and has a superior camera too.

I just compared the images, and can safely say that the image quality is much inferior than S9+. The RX17 Pro has inferior image processing, which is very evident in the images. The images are over-sharpened and have poorer dynamic range.
If you're considering this for the camera, then don't buy it, you can get better in this price range. As someone commented below, you could even get a S9 for this price.

Pixel peeping those shots in low light are horrendous. These are only sort of passably good for social media compressed-resized uploads.
Chinese OEMs bar Huawei are just trash when it comes Camera software.

gws89, 07 Nov 2018I don't think R17 Pro has micro SD slot either. Erm, if you read the official specs of R17 Pro on Oppo's website, R17 Pro does have microsd support and it's used on SIM 2 slot.

Are this companies aware, that its end of year for the S845, and that 710 is not high end SOC, and the most important thing, that you can get S9 plus for 600$? what drugs are they using charging 600$ for this? lmao....

Oh dear, Oppo is getting RE****ED lately. Oppo R17 has a 3.5mm jack while losing microsd support & Oppo R17 Pro / Oppo RX17 Pro (Europe) has microsd support while losing 3.5mm jack. It is just as good as saying "sacrificing" something while "gaining" something in return which is BS at these mid-high prices.
For my country, Oppo R17 has no in-display FPS while some other countries' model has it. And the salesmen here in my country is pushing people to buy Oppo R17 & R17 Pro. If you don't read the official specs of the above 2 models, you will regret it after you are "tricked" into buying unless you don't care. The previous models Oppo R15 & R15 Pro were much better because 3.5mm jack & microsd support were there as STANDARD despite having a FUGLY NOTCH.
So for those who have already purchased Oppo R17 or Oppo R17 Pro / Oppo RX17 Pro (Europe), I do advise you to sell it immediately. Get another phone at a lower / same price-point that has 3.5mm jack and microsd support as STANDARD. OR you can keep it if you don't care about 3.5mm jack / microsd card.
