Something wrong with the battery endurance test on GSM area. On youtube the V40 is able to properly compete against the other flagships.
My G6 battery life is very good. V30 is still getting praises everywhere for its great battery life. I think the v40 SOT will not disappoint users in real life usage.

Another phone with so so battery. Its amazing that if you want a phone with decent specs coupled with good battery you have to go to chinese brands!!

Had V30 - Great Great phone. Great battery life
Expected V40 - battery dissapointment
Now have Mate 20 Pro - Even Greater Battery
Loved Lg skin. Not so in love with Emui. If only V40 had 4200 MAh....
V30 - Sd 835 - very efficient
V40 - Sd 845 - not efficient - check S8 vs S9 battery also

That battery life is just... moreActually, weirdly enough, LG has had small batteries in both the V30 and the G7 and battery life for the former was extremely good and the latter had surprisingly good battery for 3000. Don't know how they screwed up here though

too big aperture for daylight with that sensor size of main normal fov camera + bad processing. Compare with samsung's f2.4 aperture or xz2compact being more like raw even if with some noise and see difference.

Only LG and Samsung kept the 3.5mm jack and that's something we need to support as consumers. My LG V30 with a DAC and 3.5mm jack still thinner than a Apple XR so companies are just doing it for a money grab or they are to cheap and wanna save couple cents.

micro-sd, audio jack, fm radio, quad DAC, rugged and water resistant build... Great. However after the bootloop/G4 fiasco I'd think twice before buying LG again

Bad battery life for the price, average camera (but dynamic range really bad), great video recording. Overall average at its best.
