As mentioned in the review, the biggest problem for me is the capability of recording 60 fps, even in the lastest update, oppo still don't bring it. i just noticed it after bought this phone. A bit let down why i didn't read the review before deciding to buy it

My biggest problem with these reviews are that the reviewer never states how well (or not) the phone interacts with other apps. In my experience ColorOS and funtouchOS don't play well with other apps. You also need a username and password to ordinary stuff 🙄

I personally think it's stupid to have crazy charge u... moreI believe they tried but no available element in the present that would work like that, Well lucky you still have choices like phone's from ASSUS who can last longer than other device but as u can see they're just too big for our lazy hands that it didn't hit that much in the market :)

I personally think it's stupid to have crazy charge up time instead of developing a longer lasting device but maybe some people like carrying a charger with them.

Gotta be honest, I felt scared with the TOF camera at the top.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't even a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 89xx phone which can do it.
Biggest complaint against this phone has to be sub-standard audio setup offer, not even a good adaptor!?

Pros
-Rigid build with a glass back, aluminum side frames and stunning gradient design.
-Excellent AMOLED panel with great sunlight legibility, vibrant colors, skinny bezels and unobtrusive minimalist notch.
-Generally good camera experience and capable night mode.
-Powerful and efficient Snapdragon 710.
-Loads of cool ColorOS features.
-Stupid fast SuperVOOC Flash Charge charging (from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes)
-128GB base storage and supports microSD expansion albeit hybrid.
Cons
-No 3.5mm jack as STANDARD and no dongle included. (Oppo, what are you thinking?? If you could do that on your previous gen R15 Series, why can't you include THAT as a CHOICE & STANDARD??)
-No EIS at 4K@fps, overblown highlights in videos and HDR stills and some amount of noise in well-lit scenarios.
-At least some kind of ingress protection would have been appreciated.
-Useless 3D TOF camera on the back and no wide-angle or telephoto lenses.
-Somewhat overpriced for the specs.
-Color OS in general (No app drawer option, developer settings once turned on has an annoying yellow bar for "discouraging" users to "spoil" their phone.)
I have improved the pros & cons, but kudos to the editor for the TRUTH.

OP should have implemented the exact same phone but with 845 and Oxygen OS, minus the TOF camera, as the OP 6T. That would have been just amazing.

"The Oppo RX17 Pro doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack. Since our review units didn't come with a USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter dongle of its own, we didn't do our usual audio output quality test. The reason for that would be that a third-party dongle would have skewed the results. Most of these dongles house their own digital-to-analog converters (DAC) so any audio test with a random dongle will not be indicative of the phone's audio chops."
That is the REASON (TRUTH) why 3.5mm jack MUST be INCLUDED as a CHOICE & STANDARD!!
