I come from LG V20, want to replace primarily due to poor battery life now after 2 years. This ticks dedicated micro SD, good battery life, but lacks IR. I have question to actual owners (if you don't own, please don't respond). How is the camera's IQ after any recent updates, does the purple fringing/hue still persist? Are the pictures soft still? Does anybody know if Samsung is working on camera improvement? Does Open Camera give better results or is it the same?

If I buy this, my friends gonna borrow it and use the camera all the time ¶∆¶... Thinking how I became a photographer for their instagram and filling up my storage of their faces .... LoL I'm exaggerating

Pricing by far Sony wins. So no way Shamesung!

Nooooo you can't have a phone loaded with camera at every part of it. Noooo rather form a nice pattern at the back . It could be in the form of a diamond, circle or an arc (semicircular shape)

So no A series has not bad camera but this one has and I’m quite buffled that gsmarena did not returned that and asked for a good one cause I could not beleve Samsung would make such a big mistake in software for camera. I looks like a broken phone.

Damn.... so.... Was I lucky or what? Absolutely no purple cast on my pics. White balance works always fine, even before the two (already) camera updates. The only thing that sucks is that the software switch too quickly from the 2× lens to the main one, applying 2× digital zoom.
