Ali Hunsicker, 15 Jul 2019I just got my Moto G7 and it doesn't come with a case. That's true
Had mine for 2 weeks. Battery life is excellent and charges very quickly. I use Android Auto and in my 20 minute drive the car has recharged the phone to 100% at the end of the day! My old Sony M5 wouldn't have charged up at all in that time. Everything works very well and its great having 64gig in the phone for podcasts etc on board and you have your SD card for videos, music and images. Really a great phone for the money, streets ahead of my Sony M5which cost me $200 more 2 years ago. Phone updated to Android 9 on startup and I have 2 sim slots, NFC for Google Pay and a Radio built in.
How ridiculous to make a better phone and then remove the front camera flash, feature which which is so great with the E5 plus , this makes no sense .So we go back to handing our phones to strangers again to take decent photos of our to selves.

Structural integrity tested by guy paid to break the phone...
Software can be changed easily, but if you pay more for sub par hardware, you are stuck with it till you upgrade...
When can we see moto g7 plus complete review?..........and I would like to know which phone is better,Moto g7 plus or Redmi Note 7 pro..
Can you guys please include Moto G6 numbers in comparisons....
It makes it way easier so that I don't have to do the research myself.
The whole point is to show iterative improvements over last gen...otherwise I have no clue how well the G7 does to the G6 in performance.
lonewolf08, 17 Feb 201966hr battery endurance...crap...literally crap :/Get the power version, it's probably the best along with the Plus
"For your money, you'd be getting a 6.2-inch display, and to be fair that's 70-odd percent more screen area that the Moto G - on that metric alone, you could say the price increase is justified. It's a tall screen too, complete with rounded corners, waterdrop notch and minimal bezels, so it's perfectly in sync with the times."
4.5 to 5.0 inch is great for a one hand phone. The 6.2 inch Phablet formfactor makes it worse not better for the price. The tall screen is there because they now they can boast that they have 6.2 inch. If you are looking at the usable space it is a 5.8 inch phone.
Yes the tall screen, rounded corners and notch are a sign of the times: if it looks good on the poster we use it. Fuck usability.

Has anyone started cataloging the Bluetooth codecs on this family yet? Confirming LDAC or aptX LL support would be really nice...
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2019The 6.1 Plus is pretty compelling option or instead the 5.1 Plus. Still i would still choose t... moreNokia 6.1 plus has SD 636 and Nokia 5.1 plus has Helio P60 both are far better than SD632. Moto has a bad reputation in updates. I've been using 6.1 Plus as my daily driver not facing any battery backup issue. I'm not telling battery backup(3060mah) is great but not worst either. It gives me 18-19 hours backup. I am not a gamer. Using the phone for my work purpose, calling, emailing and chatting.
"FM radio, dedicated microSD slot, and a headphone jack - why doesn't every phone have all of these?"
Because you and other reviewers keep rewarding them for not having.
