It's more practical, X is not.

this phone looks beautiful but it's impractical hence they shows a protective cover for it... it won't last... beauty wise huawei has done it but, as for durability and practicality... Samsung nailed it. Samsung is cheap so I will buy the galaxy fold.

Huawei Mate X - now this is an awesome foldable phone! Samsung Fold is like toy compare with this! Haha!

i lie this implementation more than the samsung one, but both are overpriced early alpha products. Maybe are gonna be ready for mass production in 2-3 years!

This looks far better than Galaxy Fold, and will probably be a lot less expensive because Galaxy Fold needs an extra display/screen while Mate X only need one single display/screen! Mate X is clearly a far better solution than Galaxy Fold!

So, Huawei seems to make everything Samsung does with their own foldable device but seemingly better. It's good that Samsung finally has some serious competition, otherwise they would entirely stop innovating any more.
