How come that Samsung provided the selfie camera with f 1.9 aperture, and the 2016 flagships for example the S7 Edge has f 1.7 ??
Someone dare to explain ?

I don't know if they were referring to their professional use or personal experience, probably both.
So that conflict can easily be explained because the Achilles heel of both the Mate 20 Pro & the XS Max are standby times, but as the tasks and usage are more intense the battery runs out before standby times can become a factor.
You can see this if you multiply the workload by 4= 4hrs of Calls, Web browsing & Video playback:

Now you will see the result in Custom Rating:
Mate 20 Pro= 31hrs
Galaxy S10+= 29hrs
XS Max= 25hrs
So all lasting a full day (24hrs) under a heavy but realistic workload.

Only GSMA can explain that comment in the S10+ conclusion.
There is a conflict because GSMA's Endurance Rating for the S10+ is 91h:

Anyhow I'm sure both are true all day (24h) batteries, or all weekend with light use.
But then it goes on to say, "The iPhone XS Max doesn't charge faster than anything, but that's hardly a dealbreaker. Another awesome screen, comparable battery life, ..."
So maybe the iPhone XS Max & all other phones with an Endurance Rating of =>79h also have an all day battery:

DxOMARK=109: Photo=114: Video=97
for the back camera's as your Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but the selfie camera's score higher on the S10+ (96 v's 75).
It'll be interesting to see a head to head when it's finished, maybe GSMA will do one too (when they're not too busy).

I have seen almost all camera comparisons. Based on my own preferences/opinion the S10+ is a little better in camera performance, take in consider that this phone will get updates to boost camera performance. I can even tell you that i like the photos in daylight of the Iphone more than the S10.
The upcoming Huawei p30 will definitely beat all phones.

My S5 is considerably sharper than the S10 here when comparing grasses and tree branches.

Fingerprint reader issues?? Does Samsung have people giving feedbacks on prototypes and correcting them before release? This is enough of a problem for me to return mines within the 14 days return window. And for the folks who don't have this two weeks window to return, Samsung failed.

I dunno, it seems hard to believe that the S10+ camera would be so much worse then s9 or even S7 in the studio samples. Something is fishy here. Either the sample is wrong or the testing phone unit is bad or faulty.
I just can't imagine Samsung would let their new flagship have such bad camera compared to last year, considering it's supposed to be the same sensor.

New update improves photos and scanner.... I believe there is a reason why other websites are not rushing with the review.

FACT this Galaxy S10+ scored the same battery score as the Mi 9 (855).
It just goes to show Samsung exynos is not efficient at all and just like previous years S9 variant under performs
