Before buying anything from Oppo, you should read on Xda how annoying and restrictive Oppo's firmware has become.
Oppo software is cancerous, it can make you go completely insane, and it ultimately makes Oppo phones be nothing but expensive paperweights.
The important questions about the Oppo R11 Pro, or any Oppo phone are:
- can you unlock the bootloader?
- can you root the phone?
- is it possible to modify system files?
- if you root or modify your phone to your like, are there solutions to their annoying pervasive and constant flashing warning notifications that cover the entire status bar?
Don't buy a phone that is so restrictive (and full of spyware). You would be better off with a Nexus 1 from many years ago... this phone does not even have usb3 Type-C
My photos is not sort by date the old pictures is at the top and new picture is starting from the bottom and only in file manager has the option to sort by date, but when im on the photo i can't sort it by date. help thanks

xeroga, 30 Mar 2019It seems Chinese companies are generally falling behind in software development, hardware alon... moreI think you are gravely mistaken, Huawei, for example, has overtaken Apple's iPhone when it comes to the camera dept, have you seen the P30?
It used to be that iphone addicts laughed at android users because of the grainy pictures that android was, 5-6 years ago. How that has changed lol.
It seems Chinese companies are generally falling behind in software development, hardware alone is not able to give customer best experience IMO.
My father bought one yesterday, it looks good but bulky. Screen and cameras are good. Disadvantages are.. No USB type C, bulky size and color OS
TheKing, 18 Mar 2019this phone is horrnedous in all shape and form, i prefer the plum flipper III agree
My favourite is the Aurora Green colour variant. Also, MediaTek Helio P70 delivers snappy performance in the phone even during my heavy gaming sessions like PUBG or Asphalt 9
Any idea whether this guy will enter the european market (sooner or later)?

A master of design aesthetics, Oppo's F11and F11Pro are beat of a performer as well powered by MediaTek Helio P70
"...it has a double-gradient back, and it sure looks impressive. It could be enough to forgive the dated microUSB port and the lack of 4K video recording, but the jury is still out on that."
Textbook example of "lipstick on a pig".
Whoever buys this for the "double-gradient back" instead of the features, or lack thereof, is a sad human being.
ColorOS is a hot pile of 💩 and I won't touch anything that runs on it. Oh and microUSB port in 2019. Design, popup camera and notchless screen is good, but it's ruined by the OS and the port. Come on, Oppo.
