All pros except one big con: The FPS location is a tough call for small- and left-hand users.

Was very tempted with the 10e but I feel its more of an upgrade going from the s8 to the 10 plus. Love the prism white, I hope we see more irridescent phones!

regs, 21 Mar 2019S10 is nearly a cm higher. It's a GIGANTIC shovel. You need to learn that you can't have everything you want. Which company does that?. You can have most of what you want though.
I ThinQ it's LG not Sammy, makes the best phones!
LG G8 has f/1.9 wide angle camera
Hifi Quad DAC awesome audio!!
TOF selfie camera
Sound on Display
Great 3,500 mAh battery
They just don't have marketing budget

Not only the screen is bigger here, but that S10e in general is smaller than your A5 2017, which is a step in the right direction.

It is not the least one, it is essential (S10e here, e for essential).

Compared the 10e with my a5 2017 and my a5 was taller and generally bigger, even with its 5.2 inch screen. Screen looks stunning as always, it's just so small by today's standards
When Sony used to release compact phones all you did was bash it, and yet here we are
The low light camera sample from compare tool shows worse quality than even galaxy s7. Blurry image and lost details all over :(.

Review doesn't mention that 60 fps video recording doesn't work with ultrawide camera.
Lack of telephoto camera and underdisplay fingerprint scanner are quite significant minuses.

I have an s8 which is due for replacement in a few months and my choice would have been between the s10 and the s10e. I do prefer the size of the s10e being similar to my old s6 and also the flat screen would be less prone to cracking if dropped than a curved screen. However I am a little concerned at the compromise in the screen quality between the two and I would welcome informed comment. Naturally I'll also compare them side by side in the store before deciding but the s10e certainly suits the size of my pockets better.
