WTF is This to be counted as Cons : Charging speed is not competitive compared to most brands.
even supporting QC4.0 still no comparable to most brands for this site , and S10 even still supporting only QC2.0 and no mention to this on Cons review
Really those US reviewers are harshes again on LG phones

I dont see any better from them recently. I do hope they go back to a similar design and add new upgrades. Perfect size and amazing battery life. Audio is great but cameras could be better.

Lg keeps on screwing up. They make good phones for the price but not best phone. For $610 on tmobile, u cant beat this phone for the price.

LG and there stupid mistake some variant comes with 6 gig of ram and some variant comes with 4 gig of ram and some with dual camera others with triple camera including no update shame in you LG even Sony Xperia XZ premium got Pie update and March security patch LG and still stuck with android 8.0 on G7.

LG is making decent phones, but they can't seem to perfect their phones still. There's always something not quite good enough about their phones as of late.
They should try less gimmicks and add more useful features. Also, price their phones reasonably, as per their current brand value.

where is android 9 for my USA lg g7? only south korea g7 got android 9. you serious lg ?
how do you plan to move your g7 users to g8 ? more than 12 months ago released, no android 9 yet. there are phones september 2018 with android 9 for god sake

When image is majority black the LCD uses more power than oled, because for oled in the black areas pixels are OFF. While on LCD whole pixels are ON.
When image is majority white, oled uses 2x the power of LCD. While LCD uses same amount no matter colour displayed.
For other colours, both are equal.
Since the most used apps are the browsers and it is pretty rare to see a website that offers option to go black, oled loses advantages.
A9 2018 : 100.2 cm2 oled, 14nm cpu, 3800 mAh = 88h
XA2 Ultra : 99.2 cm2 LCD, 14nm cpu, 3580mAh = 100h
Difference of screen size is small. Almost 250mAh for A9 and still 12h behind with oled.

I've been eagerly waiting for GSM arena's review to decide whether I'll buy G8 or not.
One thing really annoyed me though, I was underwhelmed by what I read about G8's audio performance. How can it be so bad with earphones on? What is quad DAC doing wrong?
The only thing I can think of is that in order to get the best sound experience you have to use high impedance earphones, as it's the norm with LG's high end phones.
Surprisingly, the review was far more favorable than I expected, so G8 must be really good. I'm on my way to buy it, I just have to search for the triple camera variant.
