Interesting topic, thnaks!
The free format of posting the judgment is interesting to learn how different people approach this task. At the same time the answers are difficult to compare, and I think it would have been better to built-in a voting point after each line of pictures to count votes undisclosed.
Comparing pictures in nature setting is important, but maybe additional scenarios should be also considered before making a final judgment for these handsets, like indoors, evening light and human skin color.
Another idea is to show a picture taken by professional camera at the same resolution as reference for "actual" colors and light setting.
As for the voting, I think that all A, B, C have their moments, only D is cleary not satisfying.

A had way too much sharpening than necessary. B had the most neutral colors but with the very visible purple fringing, it's not a great bet.

in photo 5 and 7 i think camera A is better then camera C.. but overall camera C it's better than camera A

don't you people know how to read or you are just playing stupid? they're not asking you to GUESS which phone take which picture... they said: "have your say about how those letters should be ranked in terms of image quality" so PLEASE stop trying to make everyone feel the same about that specific phone YOU like and lets concentrate on image quality! if you want to talk sh&t about some phone you hate, go ahead and talk it with your shrink!

A, C, D, B. I really don't like B. it's extremely over saturated and have purplish feelings quite lots.
A is the most natural. C is slightly behind with sharper macro.
I think A is K850, C is N95 8GB, D G600, C Viewty.

For normal pictures, 'A' is the best which I think is Nokia N95 8GB, and for close ups my vote is for 'C' that I suppose shouyld be Sony Ericsson 850. Other wise there is a very close match between these two.
