I'm a SE fan, and I did the blind test.
Overall, I'm really surprised about the quality of Samsung's G600. IMHO is the best, not by far margin over N95 or K850...
Here was my vote posted here many days ago:
(1st, 4 points; 2nd, 3 points... etc)
1- C - A - D - B
2- A - C - D - B
3- A - C - D - B
4- A - C - D - B
5- D - C - A - B
6- C - D - A - B
7- A - C - B - D
8- D - A - B - C
A= 3+4+4+4+2+2+4+3 = 26 --> G600
C= 4+3+3+3+3+4+3+1 = 24 --> N95
D= 2+2+2+2+4+3+1+4 = 20 --> K850
B= 1+1+1+1+1+1+2+2 = 10 --> KU990

the answer is just one! i-mobile 902....
see in google at ur self!
i noticed that all the samples were taken in day light conditions. how about in low light?
so which one is the BEST?.. I want to buy but don't know which one.. most importantly can be use in USA.. I'm from Singapore..
Clear winners are N95 and than G600, while clear looser is LG and K850-just shame of technology and waste of money.
and also the phone, just a update of the camera only, other all same as k800i = =got a little bit outdate,it shall lose to N95 8GB, ,cause N95 8GB using Sony digital camera which collarbrate with CARZL ZEISS optic/len
I agree with you!cause K850i use de camera just a normal 5.0cmos camera without any optic same as Samsung. but Nokia & LG got uses an optic in the camera.the most impressive is the Viewty optics, got ISO 800!!omg
At least two credible websites have said & confirmed that the photo quality of SE K850i is really below par : GSMArena.com & PhoneArena.com. Other not-so-popular websites & blogs hav agreed to that too. Mobile-review has also indicated in its review that SE's K850i macromode & Xenon Flash are its only advantages over other 5MP Camera Phone.
SE fans, you better give up. SE has had a horrible 2007. Same design of phones, same software, only 1 5MP camera phone, which is not even good given its awkward D-Pad & inferior image quality.
The only advantage of N95 8GB over k850i just few features like N-gage games, Symbian OS, Flash lite 3.0, VGA (640x480) video @ 30fps, 8GB memory, 2.8" 16 million LCD, OTA download, WI-FI, GPS though it may be slow, stereo speakers, 3.5 jack for BOSE headsets, TV-out, 3D hardware accelerator, 369 Mhz processor, Dedicated music keys, multi format video player, file viewer excel, powerpoint etc, carl zeiss lences used by Sony cybershot digital Cam, etc
Neither fan of SE or Nokia or any XYZ brand
Not offending anyone but downloading videos from youtube and google can be done thru Realplayer, change the format type and transfer to mobile. Its nothing great in it. Anyway how many videos you going to download daily basis??
Only advantage N95 has over K850i is about WiFi which depends how much you want it. But you have to pay price for that though coz price of N95 is higher comparatively.
Not talking about GPS stuff (its just advertising term) every addon map is a paid stuff so meaningless you will end up paying equal to having professional GPS equipment..hehe Anyway i dont get lost that many times for getting help from GPS.
On an far design of SE K850i is advance, innovative and meaninful with all that D pad+Touchscreen keys+buttons for handling camera+Memory support (MicroSD and M2)+ good battery life+good music far better than N73M (that shit is just noisy and plays music at high volume with no sense in BASS n TREBLE and crisp music)
So wise guys you will understand what i said here and i hope get benefit from it if ur in dilemma
Nokia & LG more profesional. N95 8GB & Viewty, both got optic and the other 2 just a normal 5.0 cmos camera, an optic comparing to non-optic camera ,which one is better??and cybershot is just a program but not an hardware.
I just made it known to all that it is impossible for the n95 to do what the k800 can do. when the n95 is 5MP and the K800 is 3.5MP. Doesnt this mean anything to you all. Have any of you tried. Its quite the same with the barcode reader. it really really sucks. funny thing is i actually like the n95. but in a nutshell nokia's have cheap cases and horrible menu structures/interfaces. battery life on the other hand is good once u update the firmware butthats funny becos they say SE's have better batteries but i think they r all d same cos nokia batteries last really long.
@Interdude
due think i'm fooxxl or i'm stupixxd due really know that N95 8GB has flash lite 2.0 and as far as website that support flash player 9.0 adobe going to release mobile version of flash player 9.0 i.e, flash lite 3.0 within few months that means youtube, google videos will be in your hands.
I bought K850i velvet blue (the beast) with 2GB microSD card.
Although i was keenly awaiting for this cell but reading comments here i was literally turned down.
But i rather decided to go with my instincts and it turn out to be right and I LOVE K850i.
Its really worth you money.
There is no dark pics coming. I was soo wanted to see dark image i tried every option but no where i got dark images.
I rather took pic of dark room with zero light at 1am in night and it turn out to be rather coolest pic with zenon flash :D...
People who are seriously looking to buy this cell pls go ahead and buy it.
Only Con i see is its really fingerprint magnet. But its even worth it after it ..hehe and guys with big fingers check the cell before you buy maybe your finger won't handle D pad well.
and slideshow doesn't work smoothly with lots of pics but have few second patience and u wont be disappointed :)
I also loaded cell with 1 GB of songs and many pics it runs faster and decent than my Nokia 7710 with 128MB card...although they said it was a smart phone...
M@T2 "real internet experience"??
Can you play flash9 embedded media from sites like www.gsmarena.com, www.youtube.com and www.universalpictures.com on any nokia or SE mobilephone? ;)
M@T2 !!!you are totally right!!!!
now i want resul
There is a way to compensate the inadequate flash power of N95 at dark. You can use night mode and turn on the flash at the same time. The result is much better with the automatic mode.
I-Mobile 902
"Now we have come to the point where the flavor is – for the very first time a handset houses a 5 Mpix CCD-sensor by Sony powered by a Xenon flash and auto-focus, with the resolution topping out at 3264х2448 in case you use 8 Mpix interpolation."
