4 days ago I bought the Samsung Galaxy A 50. I regret. Pity that I spent money on such a phone. Screen sensitivity is zero, processor so weak, even cant follow your fingers on writing. Battery days earlier than manufacturer vowed. In short, do not waste money on Galaxy A 50.

Useless features from my point of view
1. In screen fingerprint scanner ( slow & not handy also increases cost)
2. 5 mp depth Sensor ( main camera with big aperture can compensate)
3. extra large displays ( prone to break & not handly also increases cost)
4. Glass back ( fragile & increases cost)
5. Wireless Charging ( not everyone uses, only increases cost)
instead of above features companies should focus on below:
1. bigger image sensor & aperture ,back camera limit to max 2
2. screen size limiting to 5.5 to 5.8 only
3. better sound output
4. rugged design
5. better battery, can compromise thickness
6. IR sensor & its better integration

It doesn't get hot while gaming, it doesn't even warm up. I haven't tried PUBG, but in single player games that I tried there were no problems (Trials Frontier, Bard's Tale etc.)

The major problem I find out on this phone is if accidentally this phone drop in water then you can't force it to shut down (or power off) to avoid further damage, it automatically powers on and finally, it damages internal parts of the phone (In my case, it damage Motherboard). I have switched off it more than ten times and it automatically switched on (without pressing the power button). Just hate this model and also Samsung. I bought this phone only one month ago and now it is damaged.

Hi. I'm thinking about this. Owners. Does it have always on screen? Fm radio? And biometrics are fingerprint sensor and face recognition? I read in the manual, that is also has face recognition? Can you confirm? Also does the camera app has voice commands to take pictures "say cheese,shoot, etc" my a3 2015 has voice commands in camera app. So i hope this one too.

Panda eyes, 21 Apr 2019How is the performance of the exynos 9610, looking at benchmarks it should perform very well? For daily tasks no one can stop this guy. When playing games, there are some lags here and there when playing PUBG with HDR and High Frame Rate options but those lags arent big enough to distrupt your gaming session (Might as well be my internet but guess not). No lags when playing Asphalt 9 at normal settings but when you set it to high graphics it lags to the extent of distrupting your game. It performs well for a midranger. One should not expect the highest quality gaming from a midranger. It does a good job tho.

The 4000 mah battery seems fake number because it drains so fast also kinda hot when playing games around 30 minutes. Fingerprint is bad and a little less bad after update, but still bad. The final problem is Nightmode / lowlight sucks.
Can't use gcam too. Shame.
Overall it's a good phone, just a tad bit too expensive b/c apprently it's Samsung trademark.

Bought it 2weeks ago. Excellent phone at this price range. CPU, GPU, Camera, display all met my expectation. Fingerprint sensor was laggy. But recent update makes it faster. Now only concern is something like night mode/night shoot. Unfortunately 6gb ram version is not available in my country, so i have to buy a 4gb version.
