So if you really want camera performance in Samsung, it's the S and Note series then

I had the A8 until I broke it and the camera on that was good but bested by other mid rangers such as the Nokia 7.1
IMO Gsmarena should also test battery life with dark mode on OLED phones or atleast do an article on it so we can know how much impact it has

The battery(A50) is also nice it gives me 7-8 hrs of sot. The performance is also great but if you do not play games I doubt you'll notice the difference. In the Camera department that's where i believe you'll see no change, either phone may win depending on the situation. All in all the changes are there but not really significant

For me it seems quite a definitive upgrade in terms of specs. I'm just disappointed with the omission of Ip68 and glass metal build.
But only slow finger tap unlock but also camera is 2 out of 5 stars. Foolish will buy @ $330.

Comparing the camera performance in daylight the A5 2017 mostly has more details but in nightime the A50 captures more
Ph heats so much during normal use that can not be put back in pocket and can't be touch to ear for calling
I had bought it just 1 month ago. A good Experience, must buy it. But Samsung, please improve its battery performance because it's not upto the mark. It's Battery work like a 2500 MaH. Not like 4000 MaH. & Please Improve Fingerprint Speed, It's really very slow. Just 2 cons which seems to be improve after next update. Please resolve it. A Good Samsung Smartphone.
I really like it and was thinking of buying it,but without ip68 I will not.
Had a play with the a50 in the Samsung store. I like the design, the plastic build is OK, no creaks and doesn't feel cheap but lacks the heft, sturdiness and quality of the previous years a8 glass, metal body. Beautiful amoled screen as expected and generally felt fast and fluid. Only £309 in the UK which is a good price considering last year the a8 rrp around £400+. I'll probably get one to replace my a5 2017. I would of preferred premium body and ip68 certification, but the lower price is a nice trade off.
In india 6/64 @ 23000 rs. = 330 $. At this price I wish it should be metal body, & earphone with this phone is very poorest quality by samsung ever. Otherwise performance wise OK. Samsung play different game here with RN7 pro and I think samsung get benefits. Samsung sell a series from local retailers so it's easyl available. But RN7 pro very difficult to get through online flash sale.
i was considering the a50 at first ,but i was not impressed with the indisplay finger print scanner and the plastic build. Ive chosen the honor 8x over the a50,mainly coz of sturdy build and the kirin 710 soc.
