Anonymous, 15 May 2019You forget the most important thing 1000$ price Yes, Xperia 1 will cost $1000 but it seems will be the only Android phone which worth it. At least it looks like on paper at the moment. All the features should be in place there though, nothing missed like Wireless charging for instance. Also if the camera will be as great as promised and developed by Sony Alpha department.

@GSMarena - the one major flaw with all cameras in OP phones is the Panorama Mode.
Can you add that to your review, because panorama pics suck with the 6T (terrible distortion, does not adjust levels or frame match at all)
I'm keen to see if the OP7pro has the same issue as the 5 and 6 series, because its a deal breaker for me
Mate 20 Pro is a better flagship bro
Camera and Macro mode awesome
Infrared remote control
Reverse wireless charging
It's packed with features

keep it as long as it works. And yes with this price oneplus 7 pro is not so impressive.
Anonymous, 15 May 2019How come One Plus 7 Pro review (that too full review) on the launch date? How did you manage ... moreBecause OnePlus gave them a unit to be reviwed.
Same way many youtubers have it already
Anonymous, 15 May 2019Does Sony have a-flagship phone anymore?!.Yes they do ... Coming in three weeks with:
- 4K HDR BT2020 120Hz oled screen
- sd slot
- Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos
- Stacked sensor for : Predective capture, Burst with AF, Eye AF, 10fps AF/AE, real 960fps 1080p, RAW noise reduction, 4K HLG recording with stereo 3D audio, anti distortion shutter
- much stronger Steadyshot than previous xperia
- shutter up to 30s
- Screen calibrated same way their professional monitors
- dedicated app for video recording with controls of iso, shutter speed, colour profile, frames per second
- gorilla 6 on both sides
- best music app that gives many controls
- will be updated to android 10 in october or early november
- battery care, adaptive charging, Qnovo
By the way, Sony is working on a setting to allow you set when you want the phone to stop charging so it wont keep charging to remain 100% as long as it is plugged.
Anonymous, 15 May 2019Note 9 and S9 plus outdated phones and I’m not an one plus fan. What is better in One plus 7 pro than Note 9? Note 9 and S9+ are last year phones and cannot be outdated so far
Anonymous, 15 May 2019Does Sony have a-flagship phone anymore?!.Not right now. Xperia 1 will be the one.
Anonymous, 14 May 2019Agree with you and hope android OEM’s keep SD card for low and mid range phones only cause it’... moreUh huh...so...forget the real reason why people use microSD cards (stick loads of data into the phone where it reads in seconds rather than hours via USB; if anything happened to the phone, it's an easy pop off the data and slap it on the next phone and move on, etc). Anywho, with Nano Memory cards, there's NO excuse for OEMs to not offer expandable memory as long as they have Dual SIM. Case closed.
Anonymous, 15 May 2019Note 9 and S9 plus outdated phones and I’m not an one plus fan.Yes, but S9 / S9 Plus are cheaper now, have more features, share similar design, similar battery life and, I believe, better reliability and quality overall. Performance is the same in real life. I'll never notice that S9+ is any slower than OP7 Pro. I'm not a gamer. And I like new Samsung One UI more than OxygenOS. Also I'm not a fan of Samsung or OnePlus hater. Just there are so many good phones for this money right now or even cheaper and better in some ways. Can't see any really remarkable or distinctive feature of this phone to make it "must buy" one. Say, half year old Huawei Mate 20 Pro looks more appealing right now and Xperia 1 or Pixel 4 - more promising.

How come One Plus 7 Pro review (that too full review) on the launch date? How did you manage to review and publish so fast? Also, the review seems biased? This phone is compared with Oneplus 6T and not with real competition.
no mention about Vivo S1 pro which cost much cheaper (One plus 7Pro is a clone of this phone).
I still believe GSMARENA for honest reviews of the phones.
Not really impressed with this phone at all. Camera samples (apparently taken by DSLR :)) were promising. But miracle didn't happen. And no Wireless charging again?!!! I'm sick of hearing silly excuses about the speed. 15-20W wireless charging is good enough. It's quite convenient to have this option. 90Hz screen isn't a buying point for me either. I'd rather prefer it crazy bright like on Galaxy S10. Mediocre battery life compared to even last year Huawei phones. Size wise, I'd prefer to see it smaller - 6" would be the best - not too small, not too big. And the price isn't very good compared to my Huawei Mate 20 Pro which I've got for US$560 one week used in perfect condition. See no single reason to ditch my Mate 20 Pro.
