Yeah I bought a Motorola set but it's unworthy for me it gets off several times after seeing any video in utube
Is this the Samsung or the Sony 48MP? This phone is interesting, but I didn't realize this was the midrange Exynos. I thought Motorola went with Samsung over Qualcomm to add more performance for less money. At this price SD660 level performance doesn't make much sense. 7XX or 67X makes much more sense.
Pretty sure it deserves more than 3.8 stars. :/
The only downside it had was the battery anyway.
This huge hole on a LCD screen should put to rest some ridiculous claims here that OLED results in larger holes than LCD. It depends on the sensor size and lens aperture, not the screen!
This new 48 MP camera sensor does not seem to bring any noticeable improvement in image quality compared to the older ones.

Mi9 lets you choose 48MP.
OP7 Pro does not, only 12MP.
like the punch hole and clean android, but struggle to find other good features, plus its really ugly
Why is there no zoom comparison? The main purpose of the Imx586 is better digital zoom and the option for high resolution photos. There is a common misunderstanding that the Imx586 is only for 12 megapixel photos. That's completely wrong. There is no advantage over a 12 megapixel sensor with 1.6 micron pixels. When a smartphone doesn't leverage the high resolution option, it doesn't mean that the sensor is only for 12 megapixel photos, it just means that the manufacturer didn't care about the high resolution option.
"The sensor has Quad-Bayer filter that combines four adjacent pixels into one essentially turning it into a 12MP sensor with large 1.6µm pixels and real-time HDR. This results in a sharper 12MP photo with plenty of light, detail and less noise."
Only when you compare it with the 48 megapixel resolution. When you compare it with a 12 megapixel sensor with 1.6 micron pixels, there isn't an advantage in 12 megapixel mode. Though my comment is related to pixel binning, my comment is not related to the sensor's HDR capabilities, which are not known.

Hybrid slot = fail. Display is a huge disappoinment. Battery autonomy is underwhelming. Couldn't bother to read more.
At least with G7 Power (outside ugly notched display) you get monster and the best autonomy on market plus is real dual SIM with microSD card slot.

Asyou can see there are a lot of worthy competitors. They just can't mention all of them
I really can´tunderstand why batery endurance is an issue on the latest moto phones. The G7 sffers from the same issue.
Perhaps the screen? Or the adjustments they made on the software itself? Nevertheless is a very unique phone and perhaps one of the best with Android One right now. The Nokia 8.1 is the only serious competitor and GSM Arena didn´t mention
Motorola One Vision : 6.3" + 3500mAh = 67h
Sony 10+ : 6.5" + 3000 mAh = 78h
Well done Lenovo
bug, 15 May 2019Strange that Nokia 7.1 isn't considered an alternative to this. Its cameras can't match the quality of this phone an other alternatives at similar price. One common problem in those Nokia phones.
The Exynos it's more or less ok in theory for this One Vision, but the battery consumption seems high or at least it does not last what it supposedly should for the battery size it has, even with a GPU weaker than the mid-range Snapdragon processors and similar price.
Interesting watch that the P30 Lite has less noise in the studio low light photos although with a bigger ISO. At these prices you almost collide with some previous flagships and todays flagship killers... I'd prefer research the market for those alternatives at the same price, of course only the ones that offer better results in camera, battery endurance, display, etc.
Another thing is... 464 nits of maximum brightness in any mode... So good luck under the sunlight.
