DCI-P3 100% + HDR10 on LCD = Great LCD Screen.Thumbs up for the Smartisan bro :) (M1 user here, we're a bit abandoned tho)
And IPS rulez. Live and thrive (AM)OLED but IPS is here to stay. As well as IGZO.

very interesting phone, on paper. having experienced OLED screens, it would be hard for me to go back to IPS, but everything else sounds great (or at least par for the course) at a competitive price point.
however, no idea how Asus' Android customization layer fares and that flip camera might complicate custom ROM development, i assume

Nexus = OnePlus = Asus/Lenovo/etc. Budget flagships (or flagship killers) will continue to dominate the market due to their immense value proposition. The only unfortunate part is they all move onto flagship pricing territory after a few successful releases, but a new contender quickly takes it's place.
Case in point, don't become a fanboy. Switch brands whenever your favorite brand loses it's edge.
