xz1 compact much better phone! sad that they now make phones what is no point to buy. compare the battery life! and yes, phone without energy is not a phone, but just something useless.

A marvelous device for a ten year celebration of pure technology. Not to mention they had ten years ago with its Ericsson patents 10 years above its time concepts. Quality and performance at its notch. Sony it's simply The Daddy with this One! Like.no.Other!

Why did @gsmarena drop the rating from 4,6 to 4,2? or is/was it a mistake?

Due I dont loiter around, nose all the time in the phone screen during working days, then its enough for me. I myself use it mostly for point and shoot and in the evening, in bed for news and youtube or netflix. So in my situation the battery lasts almost 2 days.

79h endurance rating, 10 Jun 2019joke, it does not last even one day usage, pointless phone.unless you are not working and using ur phone all the time, then yes the battery can last you a day. I found that sometimes when i am busy during work i cant possibly finish the battery before day ends.

later on i practice 40-80% charging range so most of the time if i am sitting in my office i will just plug in to my laptop docking and charge my phone. i dont remove my usb c cable as it is just a cheap cable and i can leave it on my table and it will still be there next day.

so for my work of 50% in office 50% in production line, the battery is good enough. but for those that commute alot and use phone for media a lot during working hours, yea then it would not be enough

Been pixelpeep examining both from samples here. Xperia is just a better lowlight shooter, in daylight some noise but better detail, while in lowlight just the opossite, much less noise with better detail preservation.
Raw noise reduction does really good.

With so many autoHDR phones out there, phones lost certain abilities of DSLR cameras, especially for some lowlight scenarios where HDR does more harm than good.
I need a camera without preset HDR algorithms to get some excellent looking lowlight shady noire looking shots if I feel like getting one.
