The screen is not 4k all the time. I tested it and it's not in 4k. Run adb and do wm size to see the default resolution

At first I thought they would make a 5G version of this phone for second semester. But now I think it is another device. I also think it will be better than this one.
Because the codename is different and each device has own codename. So they cannot be same.

Last year sony also said their phones were sold very well.
But at the end of the year.. it turned out their profit were much lesser than 2 years ago.

Looking at the photo & video comparison tool dang it looks better than any other flasghips especially in low light not only it has better details the colors also not washed out like the other phones.

Has anyone actually used the phone? i've had it since thursday, and battery life is fine, as I can end the day with about 40% and ambient display turned on also while streaming a lot of music with bluetooth earphones, and it charges to 90% in half an hour while using the phone, the only con i could give it is the lack of wireless charging, but it's not that great as you can't use the phone while it's charging.

To all of those complaining again, I mean what's new its a Sony related post right?
The phone fkng runs 4k all the time and still hits 80h in battery life. Do the math It has a much higher res display than every phone in the world, and that's saying something.
Stop complaining about everything, Xperia 1 is also selling very well. Sold out at most stores and it just released. Updates will come to almost everything.

Wow, the noise performance is one of the worst i've seen on a flagship, and GSMArena is praising it, even going as far as calling it to be as good as the Huawei and Samsung, you guys need to see an eye doctor soon.

hey 79h battery rating for a always on 4k is quite good. my xzp is only doing 72h but although it is almost 2 years the battery life is still great.
for that battery endurance it is pretty good for me. now i just have to wait some company to import the handset. hmmm
