With the release of Redmi K20 Pro, seemingly Redmi Note 7 Pro is no longer the redmi phone with the best cost-performance in the current lineup.
Low light looks worse than the 48MP vanilla Note 7 (7S). Probably a software issue since the imx sensor should be at least as capable as a gm1.
Wow you're late and most of your informations are not updated..
1. You didn't say that upcoming miui will get rid of ads
2. Its plastic frame
As usual, you need to root, enable hal3 and install GCam to get most out of redmi phones. Or better, unlock and install costum rom to get best experience. I literally bricked my redmi note 3 daily for a week trying and picking best rom. Ah, good memories.
Aluminium?recheck it's plastic frame in between glass,if not ask xaiomi for specs, why do these guys post incorrect specifications always for every phone other than huawei
"this may just be the last Redmi Note phone with a headphone jack."
Hopefully NOT!! Xiaomi, DON'T DO IT!! Fans will simply ditch you for another brand.
Ddr3? That is ridiculous. Even low midranges from other brands use ddr4.
[deleted post]You'd have to be, to not care much/at all for phones that remove the Headphone Jack...
The rest of the kit isn't bad either. You have a metal and glass body with a teardrop notch display, a Snapdragon 675 chipset with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage and a big 4000mAh battery.
Metal and glass? Are you sure? Redmi note 7 is plastic frame glass sandwich. I believe both models are built the same.
