Anonymous, 01 Jul 2019They did tests on the all IP68 phones, only the Galaxy S series survived in sea water upto 20 ... moreyou got it all wrong, IPX8 means your phone can submerge in the water up to 1.5 meters only, the lower you put the phone in the water the more pressure it will receive by the handset so your 20 feet is exaggerated
Yeah storage for Mi9T seem to be atleast UFS 2.0, as read/writes are 4xx-5xx/18x-19x
Hey, 04 Jul 2019I own the mi 9t. The headphone sound is fine, nothing to worry about.I want to know if AR+ for Pokemon GO is supported on the Mi 9T, but I can find any information about this. the only way to really know is by testing it in the game.
did anyone here already tested it or could test it and reply here? thanks.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2019They did tests on the all IP68 phones, only the Galaxy S series survived in sea water upto 20 ... moreMan any good book case can protects your phone.
And even with IP protection noone with healthy brain would use his phone during heavy rain. Everyone finds a shelter and then makes a call.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2019then why don't you just get a waterproof casing? Because i would never need it.
I would never swim with my phone or use it during rain when i am outside etc.
I think I'll settle with the Mi 9T if the Pro version will not make it to the SEA region. Do you guys have any idea if the Mi 9T Pro will be released?
battery drain tests on youtube shows it has better battery performance than redmi 20 pro, p30 pro, oppo reno series etc.
this phone scores better screen on time than all of those.
so i didn't understand why it has lower web browsing and video playback score on the battery endurance test than all of the phones i mentioned. that's interesting.
Striver, 29 Jun 2019I bought this K20 in China from MI company operated outlet 18 hours ago. Phone is lacking self... moreIf selfie cam pops up in the pocket that doesn't sound good. I wouldn't give it up so soon just because of this though, there must be some way to fix it or hopefully Xiaomi will do it in the update. If anyone has same experience or knows a fix please write it around here.
What's the headphones sound actually like? Is it so bad or is it OK? Please someone who owns it write some info compared to other particular phones maybe...
Thank you for your review, it has useful information and it really helps to decide which model is more suitable for the reader.
Disappointing battery life given its capasity. With 8nm SoC and Amoled screen it should easly outperform Redmi Note 7 in this term.
How about the gps performance?
walterwhite00, 03 Jul 2019guys ,
which one has better camera ? especially by day&night photos? i don't care about... moreIt's mostly too close to call on photo quality on the main camera, so my advice would be the Mi 9T as is offers an additional ultrawide. Front facing appears to get better results on the Mi 9T. The extra battery life doesn't hurt either :-)
I have the Mix 3 myself and wouldn't mind getting that ultrawide. Mix 3 is better on video, but as it's not important to you then it doesn't matter.
Zuzu, 30 Jun 2019If you need a very good sound buy a headphone amplifier (like Fiio) for 50$ and you'll kick ev... moreIts awesome, no doubt, but carrying it around is not my style.
I'll see if the K20 Pro impresses or not, otherwise, I'll just go for second hand S10, which does a fine job here.
I am better off buying the 256GB version of this phone then spending almost 250$ on a 256Gb Nano card from Huawei for my Mate20pro.
brombadeg, 02 Jul 2019Wonder how it works with g.cam? Will it bring the photo quality level higher?Yes gcam works plus the Custom ROM community will make sure to get you the best pictures from your smartphone
which one has better camera ? especially by day&night photos? i don't care about video performance much, photo is important for me..
mi 8 or mi mix 3 or mi 9t ?
Nicolas F, 29 Jun 2019Thank you, Cap'n Obvious ;) If they want their device to look good - then why don't they ma... moreWell because not everybody is adept at designing their phones. As it stands, to me as a smartphone minority, I think glass is only useful if wireless charging is added. But I'm not the majority, who want phones that look and feel as good as the more expensive offerings
