n82 is the best phone.no doubt it will be the bestseller. i bought the set for appx. 600 dollars n i feel lucky buying it when the prices were gona rise.i would prefer this over n95 8gb,k850 or ku990 (options when i was surveying) so jst go for it.
n its keypad gives you problems for a week at max until u get useto it.
""the experts at GSM Arena have compared the N82 with K850 and the Nokia came out on top. Quote: "the picture quality is great. It's the best you can find on the market." Concerning N82's flash: "it is the best flash to be found on the market dethroning Sony Ericsson K850. It's not even a close call."
So frustrated !!!!!!!!!!
After reading all these positive reviews I had so much expectations (I loved the N73 so I was an easy target!).
I bought the N82 2 days ago and am extremely frustrated, and the customer hotline did not give a .....!
Feeling hopeless I registered to My Nokia to send a feedback as a last attempt to get someone care about my issue.
I still hope they live by the standard that every customer would expect from a global leader, and give them one week to provide satisfactory support (I also work in a global company that would not let a customer that dissatisfied).
If they do (or they don't), I will keep you posted so that you have the exact idea of how great this company is. Or is not.
Stay tuned !
ok, now i duno if im da only 1, but indoors i found dat da n73 and n95 sort of enhances pictures. like things become darker or shinier and stuf, whilst the sony ericson gave a 'true' picture. is that problem solved in the n82?

My only reservations are that N82 does not have optical zoom and does not come in black.
wat we can browse by using a small screen wi-fi its waste for mobile phones and its beter in psp
c the sample photos u ca easily find tht the pictures taken by n82 is much more noisier than a sony k790 camera jus by upgrding to 5mp doent mean best ther may b flash but its not comparable to k850i.the sensors of the okia phones are not gud
actually i gave the update link:D (this is wierd page, beacuse names are at the bottom) but i heard that it's just small fix. Gives you a bit more RAM at startup, but what i was w8ing most, web browser with flash support, but not yet :(
Thanks for the link Zac...you wouldn't happen to know what the update did, do you?
PS: N82...best investment I could have ever made. Absolutely perfect cellphone.
hey ppl.. xenon flash from digital cam exactly not same with a car xenon light. if u try to switch on ur xenon flash more than 2 sec, ur xenon flash will xplode n burnt because the flash consume high voltage current.
it doesn't take nuclear reactor:D (cars have xenon lights)but anyway, battery would last max a minute
there is software for turing on flash, but i'm not sure you should that, beacuse the xenon may burn and then you don't have flash anymore.
Xenon flash can be used only because a large amount of energy is passed through in a matter of seconds...it would take a nuclear reactor to power the xenon flash as a torch
Is there any feature to use the xenon flash as torch light just like Sony Ericsson models have? If no, is there any program, that can switch on the xenon flash?
Suyog, I've had the same problem, as far as the speakers are concerned (nothing in particular with the audio jack so far, touch wood). I would even say the top speaker is completely mute, regardless how you fiddle with the balance or audio settings.
The bottom one is fine, though. It could be a minor defect, or needs firmware upgrade.
