Both realme 3 pro and redmi note 8 are splash proof
Redmi Note 8 Pro would be the most anticipated on this segment, it will have Mediatek though. However I have a good sample for Mediatek which last around 4 years (Redmi Note 2) and still in prime condition to date (used by my cousin).

How come Redmi note 8 is not splash proof !!!

Hahaha ! main camera contain no OIS. Means Blurry and Noisy low light photo.
KartKN, 31 Aug 2019Please check the K20's review before you degrade it in your comment!I'm from the same poster but chill out bro.
What I meant is that the Realme last a bit longer at web browsing test (16 hours) compared to K20 pro (13.5 hours) and K20 (11.5 hours). I forgot to write that down at that time. :/

Calling these phones quad camera is kind of a stretch isn't it. depth sensor is redundant, macro seems very low quality. So still a dual camera phone.
Even wide angle is only 8mp which after cropping to avoid the distortion and stuff seems too low
Damn that's a high quality LCD screen
Competition between realme and redmi have created a very excellent phone
Good job Realme the battery seems really good, a couple of hours longer than K20 family I think. Also for a such cheap price, the charging time is impressive plus you got the fast charger with suitable cable out of the box.
Which regions exactly is this available in? I only heard mention of India. Is it available in the USA?
You're wrong about there not being any benefits to shooting in 48mp mode and downscaling to 12mp. There's smudging yes, so it's certainly a balance, but there's a huge amount of extra detail in most parts of the image. The detail in the bushes in the snail shot and the one with the diagonal bush line is almost at DSLR level at times. Unfortunately most people don't seem to care about so-called pixel-peeping with phone cameras.
Battery life figures for video and browsing are impressive. LCD panel seems top notch and I find the transparent iOS style notification panel much better than other skins. Realme is being relentlessly aggressive with their releases.
It says this is the second Realme phone with UFS 2.1 but the Realme X & Realme 2 Pro 128GB versions already have UFS 2.1
