Most people in this forum wants recommendations based om pretty basic needs. There is no point overcomplicate things so buyers end up with features they dont use or get maximum value from.

Sony IMX in every phone almost. The question you have to ask yourself do you really need that almost nothing extra OIS gives you as a normal user? I mean if you are a profesional photographer you dont use you phone as camera anyways.

There is a specific feature in android 10 (desktop mode) which will work greatly with wired video output compared to wireless solution until WiFi 7 comes out and WiFi 7 isn't coming anytime soon until 2024.

Easy winner...Oneplus 7 because oxygen OS.... Oneplus must be praised among other chinese manufacturers who think that a smartphone only resumes to hardware and don´t give a dam´n to software.

This is why oneplus is so good, only releases two models and focus on updates. My 5T is up to date, and it was released in december 2017.

The only reason to buy a xiaomi is if you´re short on cash, otherwise i´d choose a oneplus anyday

stinkfist, 10 Sep 2019OIS is overrated since phones made today have inbuild software which helps stabilize. OIS is and always will be the best solution, no amount of software correction can beat proper hardware. It's the same thing with post-process imaging, too much software algortihm would ruin the whole photo, especially for low light photos.

Huh ! Even a Child knows that OnePlus 7 will be winner in terms of low light performance due to its optical image stabilizer. So, it is quite unfair comparison between a OIS Camera vs A Non-OIS Camera.

This is a difficult comparison, because it's between a SkinnedOS and a StockOS.

Let alone the price discrepancy. Maybe it would've been smarter to compare it to the Moto G7 Plus. And there's also the One Power, One Vision, One Action, One Zoom, Moto Z4 and Moto Z3 to consider.

                      Or there's some AndroidOne devices from HMD-Nokia such as the 5.1+, 6.1+, 6.2, 7.1, 7.2, 7+, X71, 8.1.

Or perhaps a comparison between the Xiaomi K20 vs the Mi A3. Because there isn't much StockOS phones left besides the LG G7-One, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3aXL. Perhaps a side-grade to the OnePlus 6 would've been a better rival (cheaper) against the K20 Pro.

ali0017, 10 Sep 2019Coz OnePlus 7 Pro is way way more expensiveThats not a valid reason. Only Xiaomi makes cheap phones with flagship performance. If the comparable phones need to have the same price you end up with no comparison.

For most part the only plus with OnePlus 7 against RK20 Pro is oxygen os which is way better than miui (which to me is garbage UI)

But objectively it's RK20 Pro which is winner just based on hardware specifications alone-
                                1. Audio jack ( no audio jack no buy)
                                2. More and versatile cameras, also to most users the photo form RK20 Pro will be far more pleasing compared to OP7.
                                3. Display, a notched dislpay compared to full screen display is just not comparable at all,
                                4. Battery life and charging capacity, what gsmarena test shows both nearly about same result in daily life usage it isn't, Redmi k20 pro lasts far more than OP7 in continuous usage or sot. Plus RK20p support Qualcomm's quick charge 4 compared to proprietary one in OP7.
                                5. Price, the value difference is OnePlus 7 is a minimum $100 more than RK20p.

I never said the K20 Pro is inferior in everything, I said it has no notch, a bigger battery, more cameras for more POV and a headphone jack.
Yet you manage to make the OnePlus 7 look bad in every way, good job.
Importing the 256 GB/8 GB directly from China, they're are about the same price.

If the absence of headphone jack, waterdrop notch and not so great just so-so camera are not deal breaker for you, then go for OP7.

Shadocx, 10 Sep 2019K20 Pro, no stereo speakers, no UFS 3.0, no HDMI output via USB 3.1, no OIS on the main camera... moreHdmi output via usb 3.1, do you even use that feature for once in your life? Ufs 3.0 is marginally better than 2.1. In real life usage you wont even notice the difference.
And who cares about that tiny front stereo speaker. I can take great shots without the need of OIS and by the way what's the use of OIS if it doesn't prevent motion blur of a slow moving object. Ugly waterdrop notch, no 3.5 mm jack, cost $150 more than K20 Pro. I'd pick up K20 Pro in a heartbeat, great build quality, fullscreen display, great rear camera (don't care about front selfie cam).
