of course n73 is better.. n73 has symbian,6500 has s40.. and 6500 is sliding which very risky

this phone is an amazing phone. great features, fantastic to use. but there have been many faults. Number of them having charging issues and having issues with turning on from what i've heard.

Good Phone. I've got an issues on delay when answering calls with slide. But just update new firmware from 4.81 to 4.84 the problem solve. Over roll this phone is great.

Got 6500 and very disappointed and especially with NOKIA support service worse customer service ever in quality and knowledge of the product. Regarding the phone BIG MISTAKE VERY BIG MISTAKE phone have habit of hanging during the call and rebooting. Nokia refuse to support this phone. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

6500 Slide is a handsome model only on its look. But it has various problems like "hanging" while attending to a call or "checking" on as "SMS". Can prefer N73 over this model since it has all 6500 Slide feature......or 5610 X press music

I got this phone. everythin is good except software (series 40 5th edition). It really got bugs compared to my previous 6300 which never give software problem. anyway, camera,speaker,music player, build quality ..everythin is great.

The 3.2 MP CZ Len is disappointing compared to N73..
It stand up because of it solid stainless steel body..

I just bought it today.. and i am really disappointed with this. Only good thing with this cell is its looks.. I will be selling this one after 1-2 months. I sold k790i to buy this.. and now i am regreting.. SE k790i is best in this range.

I have seen this phone and used for a while from my friend ... I really lilked its shape and steel cover beside its 3.2 Camera beside its loud speaker... But I was disappointed with the sofware of the phone ... like when you want to navigate away from the MP3 player you have to turn it off or it will continue playing .... also sometimes it gets jammed and acts slowly although the I have 128 MB only !! even the keypad lock gets jammed and I had to turn it off by taking out the battery !!!

Hi, has anybody faced a problem with wallpepars in the phone? When i make a picture and put it like wallpaper, after a while the phone bugs- the upper buttons stop working!!! Any idea...

I have one, after waiting a few months. The feature-set is not the best, the S40/5 UI is full of bugs and the case flexes and creaks a bit. BUT. . . the photos do not do this phone justice, it is one of the handsomest Nokia has ever made. The stainless steel looks fantastic, and this could easily have been the top male-oriented phone in the 8xxx series. Nokia may have made a marketing error by not designating it as such and charging more!

well i got this phone. If looks dun impress u, then get a real set and feel it. Only complaint is that batt cover doesnt grip properly at one side since it has only one latch. Other than that, all perfect in design.

Audio message is the best feature ever! I use it frequently for sending messages on the fly. Faster than typing, cheaper than calling. It is like the poor mans Voice over IP with the benefits of a voice mail deposit only it is on your phone and you can save it. More makers should support it.
Only wish the 6500 was a bit thicker. Slim phones tend to have poor quality speakers, like the 6300 and most Motorolas.
