Anonymous, 27 Jan 2020Realme 5 is best as compared to note 8If you have used Redmi Note 8, you will know the Redmi is superior than the Realme. More solid build, more premium look with the Corning Glass back, better display quality and touch response, has fast charging, better sound from the speaker and arguably better cameras too.
Realme has poor quality (the back creaks when you push a bit harder), plastic back scratches easily, feels top heavy when using with one hand and still using micro USB. The only thing Realme is better at is battery life, but the Redmi has good battery life for 4000 mah.

ngeww, 09 Jan 2020got confused what to buy . real 5 or mi redmi note 8 ?Don't ever think to buy Realme 5 because recently am using and when I faced software problems service center format my phone after that my camera become worse too blurry and when I do crop on any pics it becomes blurry and when I did the cropping from Samsung mobile it's totally different and screenshot never clear. It's totally waste of money

*primary camera is not good, ultra wide angle camera's picture is worst, in slo mo video it seems dark, front camera will make u artificial, customize option is not enough
*Display and brightness is not worthy of appreciation
*screen off gestures don't response well
*extra weight is uncomfortable (but 5000mah battery ❤)
*some bugs in developer option
*no fast charging
*Don't have any background data restriction, data saving mode is not sufficient
*no notification light
*back side will be worst without a cover
*touch response is so so

I have been using realme 5 since over half and a month. I have faced the following issues till date.
1. when headphones connected, and you are moving, the volume of sound tracks and even calls will go to zero. Everytime you readjust it, it will go down. Realme claims that the issue is resolved with software update but it is not.
2. When connect headphones, it hangs sometimes. And become normal only when eject headphones.
3. Serious issue with screen brightness and colours when you use it outdoor. And when you go back indoor you will see that the screen brightness and colour has changed into ab irritating yellowish one, which really pinches eyes. The issue get normal after restart. This issue occurs frequently after one months or so of use.
4. Upon regular use, I witnessed apps closing abruptly and by own. This issue usually occurs with WhatsApp.

Lag problem. Overheating too much battery consumption. Very low performance. I buy this phone one n half months. For me this is not gaming phone. You know what I got stress. This phone is for FB use only not for gaming
