Haha so much for a geekbench-tuned SoC but when tested to many realworld apps that does what GB does, iPhone is slower even with its previous sibling.
Even though they look like minions, they do not last long in talk time.
In my opinion it can be best camera in the market among modern smartphones, but sadly - it's still behind photograpy legends - Lumia 950 XL and super far to Lumia 1020.
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2019I've seen some YouTuber's speed comparison "proving" Samsung's new Note faster than Max Pro : ... morebecause if they talk good about apple , people gonna hate them and said been paid by apple and being apple shep .....
and the easy way to gain more like and viewer and subscriber , just talk bad about apple
Walter C. Dornez, 26 Sep 2019In what way?The camera of course, but as I said it's from impressions alone, we'll need a shoot-out, if not from GSMA then certainly from Anandtech, a set of samples without comparison only reveals the most glaring issues, which are not present on most modern flagships.
1500euros for this LOL
The phone is way too expensive, too heavy and outdated for 2019!
Whoever says the opposite is either paid by Apple or has nothing to do with technology!
Just because they added 3 cameras doesnt make it a 2019 smartphone!
And please someone explain me why Apple still refuses to add those cameras on her ipads?
Hello Life, 26 Sep 2019What a beast.. even in single core performance the iphone 7 with its 3 year old hardware Is be... moreWhat are you doing with all that processing power?
Still no basic features like USB OTG.
Still slow motion capped at 240fps whereas other manufacturers did 960fps a year back.
Still ugly design from back. And ugly notch on front.
Anonymous, 26 Sep 2019One CON is missing ... These two have very SAR levels, above 1,00 What are you, a human Geiger counter?
Android phones looks like shit in ths benchmark testes vs iPhone.
Whackcar, 26 Sep 2019Because that is old technology which would disappoint all mainstream users (and rightly so).
... moreI said less accuracy, not less security.
If you can have power as fingerprint scanner and Apple owns the legal rights, it is pointless to use in-screen.
It is more expensive, can be damage if screen breaks and something else to increase burn in ..
Wow. Never expected those endurance figures. Apple has all the while maintained that optimisation and sofware is good enough for battery life. The great Sir Johnathan Ive also stated that the reason an iPhone doesn't have a larger battery is because that would make the phone thicker and heavier causing people to use it less. And after a dozen years, Apple finally put a decent battery. Battery technology is as crude as old internal combustion engines. There is no replacement for displacement. Or in a battery's case -- MaH. If they could have made the phone thicker, had the camera module flush with the back, they could have packed in some more battery. Can't call what it impressive. This was due a dozen years ago. Hopefully, battery capacity will increase from here on. And the optimisation/integration nonsense ends.
Too bad it is such an ugly and chubby mobile, hopefully next year they will remove that horrible notch.
I've seen some YouTuber's speed comparison "proving" Samsung's new Note faster than Max Pro : extremely subjective with many launched app touched with a slight delay ; with the iPhone's display at full brightness while Samsung's had a noticeably much darker screen; no mention of which memory used : was it a 64GB in both models ? Was it a 64GB vs a 256 ? All he said was vs an 8GB Ram Note model.
Reminds me of last year's camera stabilization comparison between Google's Pixel and iPhone Max : the guy started walking with the iPhone's camera in full zoom while Google's was at 0 zoom; of course the result showed a crap iPhone's result, duh !
Paid to hate ? Unprofessional behaviours ? Genuine mistakes ? Who knows; fans will blindly love their brand or their OS; seems there's plenty to love everywhere, these new iPhones sure deserve the attention too.

And no, ultrasonic under-display fingerprint readers (the ones that Samsung is using on their flagships) are as secure as traditional ones.
But something tells me that Apple is not gonna give up on that face ID... Maybe they'll find a way to make it smaller though.
"iPhone 7 anemic hues"
The iPhone 7 might have had the most terrible iPhone camera ever. It often used an extreme Lightroom-like clarity effect and also much color noise reduction. The color noise reduction and the clarity effect destroyed the colours. Some reviewers, who didn't have a clue, tried to find an excuse by saying that the iPhone 7 doesn't saturate the colors and tries to make them more natural. But it actually desaturated the colours due to the color noise reduction, so colour information got lost and it didn't look natural. The iphone 7 camera was so bad, it wasn't much better (or probably even worse sometimes) than the cameras of very cheap smartphones.
What a beast.. even in single core performance the iphone 7 with its 3 year old hardware Is better than most android phones out there. Kudos Apple.
