"Probably the most awesome feature, showing off the power of Apple's chip, is the option to shoot with all four cameras (incl. selfie) at once. At 4K at 60fps with no limits. Imagine that!"
Yeah right, a very useful feature because iphone users
would actually like to do that frequently on their 64GB base storage iphones just because they can brag about the processor power, never mind if it will be a worthless exercise achieving nothing meaningful other than bragging rights and filling up their non expandable storage spanking new iphone no time. :)
It goes to show just how worthless supreme processor power is in the restrictive, suffocating, crippled, jurassic, iOS walled garden system which is more like a walled prison actually. Convoluted file management - file access, transfers and file sharing will always be stupidly restrictive using iTunes in Apple's jurassic iOS system, and no amount of justification stating 'but they require the same number of clicks as in android/windows explorer' will change that. Gsmarena likes to present only one side of iOS file management - mp3/music file transfers with limited files accessibility after the file transfer and likes to imply/conclude that file management and file transfer is as free, simple, fast and easy, or as seamless as it is in android phones to a PC.
Really? Couldn't be further from the truth. I pity the new iPhone switcher if the person really believes the review that 'only prejudice against iTunes makes the file transfer 4x as difficult/long; it takes the same number of clicks, just as fast and easy as in android.' Now that's real prejudice to the potential buyer quadruple times more. Especially if the potential buyer really thinks file management in iOS is just as fast and easy as in an android device based on these iphone 11 review statements.
Waste your money on the latest iPhones that have nothing significantly new to offer because you can, and because it gives you better image of your excellent taste, high social status and gives you the prestige you want, but don't ever make the mistake that these latest iphones are the best smartphones, or will give you the best, most customizable and versatile user experience money can buy because frankly, they don't. Unless all you do on your phone is posting photos on Facebook and watching Youtube in addition to call and text (plus the enjoyment from the compliments received and prestige of owning one off course). If it's the case, then by all means enjoy your all powerful genie (bionic processor) in a lamp (walled garden/iOS) which will have guaranteed 3 years of software updates including the last one that will intentionally slow down and stutter your iPhone so you'll buy a new one. Excellent job, Apple! :)
Athulmiriam, 26 Sep 2019Can anyone pl explain how iPhone 11 series get double the contrast.... I mean isn't contrast i... moreAnything contrasting with black 0 nitts is infinity.
I think they're saying Apple claims it has 1200 nitts; double brightness, hence doubling the contrast.
"We love wrapping up iPhone reviews as it doesn't really matter what we are going to say as you've probably already made your mind. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet iPhone 11 Pro and we are done."
Fell off my chair laughing. Well-written as always, @GSMArena. I am absolutely no fan of Apple's restrictive/closed ecosystem and iOS, but I have to admire their solid (even if not perfect) execution.
- Screen - brightness, contrast, colour accuracy.
- Audio - next to zero damage from high-impedance devices (c'mon, ROW, how much harder or more expensive is it to drop in a proper hifi op-amp?) and good sound quality.
- Camera - all cameras coordinated and calibrated for seamless experience, great Night Mode performance, great video quality. And another good demonstration of why an OMGWTFBBQ 2048MP camera sensor isn't automatically better, or a "measly" 12MP one bad.
- Compactness - in a world of phones trying to outdo each other in doubling as a 2-by-4, the 11 pro's size is refreshingly handy.
Now if only the Android manufacturers would match that breadth and depth of execution.
Can anyone pl explain how iPhone 11 series get double the contrast.... I mean isn't contrast infinite on oled screens... Then how they can call it double..

Take a look at Android phones. They keep changing their looks yearly. Its a major gimmick! To make you think there's something new. They NEEDED it, they selling hardware only. if phone sales fails, they go under. But when you look closely, nothing much changes as well!
Apple do not do that, they kept the look for years. Improvement is added without major dimension changes. People may think it's boring, and lack improvement. But its not true! The OS improves along with the phone. Old iPhones still works because of the updates.
Android OS will copy iOS the following year.
Whackcar, 25 Sep 2019While it's only an incremental upgrade, it is still the least disappointing iPhone to come out... moreUpgrade is incremental, but I give it to apple for choosing the upgrade well. These minor upgraded addresses some of the most common issue apple users face.
You can say it lacks xxx compare to android, but apple only had one phone, while there are at least 10x the number of android brand in the market, cant expect one phone to challenge spec to spec with all android flagships.
smallwhite, 25 Sep 2019I am surprised to see somewhat diminishing return of adding a larger battery. Maybe I am wrong... moreWhy is it not shown? It has smaller battery than the Huawei and much more powerful processor, but lasted nearly as long.
Good. At least I'm not alone. ahaha
"And the quality of the Night Mode images is class-leading." It has to be if not Apple will not be selling the iPhones at such a high price....

One CON is missing ... These two have very SAR levels, above 1,00
not a 5g supporting. expensive phone.other branded phones are comming with 5g supporting.
The main disadvantage of all ios-based devices is the lack of multitasking. And it's a shame.
S Yu, 25 Sep 2019From impressions alone, it's an improvement, but they failed to catch up to Pixel 3.Hahaha the what? You’re so funny!
Please go to Gsmarena image quality comparison against s10 plus & xperia 1 in low light, you will see clearly more detail in xperia rest of two
