Don Hrle, 01 Oct 2019Phones that don't have AOD and 90hz screens in 2019. Lmao 90hz... Thats a lot of phones for you to lmao..
Awesome review! It looks like Apple is killing it again and their flagship literally is on top of every other smartphone out there. Not to mention the Pro models which take things even further.
Kudos to Apple for getting all this together! Best performance, best efficiency, fastest CPU/GPU on the planet, best speakers, best water resistance, best night mode currently available, best optimised OS, best integration with other devices (mac, ipad, watch, homekit, car), most secure and privacy-oriented smartphone, made with recycled materials, WOW! And the list goes on and on and on...
2018 was the year I ditched android and haven't looked back ever since. Everything just. Friggin. Works! All the time. It's something android diehard fans can never understand unless they experience it first hand and with an open mind to do things easier and logically.

Penev, 30 Sep 2019So basically everything except the CPU/GPU performance sucks compared to every other sub $400 phone?NOPE.
- Better water resistance
- WAY better Cameras
- Definitely better feel
- More secure(Face recognition is more secure than any type of fingerprint sensor)
So basically everything except the CPU/GPU performance sucks compared to every other sub $400 phone?
Steven, 29 Sep 2019NO ONE SHOULD BUY LCD in 2019 ( not to mention HD )
Go for Pro version .
Oled is 99% of sm... morewhy cant buy lcd on 2019 ? did the technology will hurt our eyes and make us blind or something ? how bad lcd ?? plz .... share ur experience
Pixel 3 xl Boy, 29 Sep 2019Omg isnt that from 2016? how can you even use that thingYes I know
Steven, 29 Sep 2019My wife always asks for my samsung to watch youtube when going to bed instead of her Iphone 7 ... moreYour wife watch youtube.. is a bad reason for wanting S10 vs iPhone.
Your reason for S10 vs ip10 pro is price, all in all she still prefers iPhone.
What is SD slot gonna help in youtube?
Multitasking doesn't help you watch youtube faster.
AOD does nothing for youtube.
Weight.. is your wife soo weak that a few grams is noticeable, i don't think so.
Slim? So.. 0.2mm.. can you even see? Again.. what does that affect youtube???
The only practical think is, jack.. so you don't disturb your spouse. BUT.. iPhone can use wired earphones also! And if she using iPhone 7, jack missing is normal for her!
Again.. nothing about youtube!!!
The only POSSIBLE rant you can give is..screen. iPhone 7 use LCD, and watching dark "Youtube" videos.. and you can see the bright screen.. while amoled screen don't have such issue due to infinity contrast.
Preyas , 29 Sep 2019Is night mode coming to iPhone XR camera ? Nope its apple dude they don't do that
Mike9625, 28 Sep 2019Wtf are u talking There's a lot of better options than this. The only thing that iPhone has to... moreLet me get this straight, besides the *categorically defining factor of a phones superior performance, the chipset* which Apple has matter-of-factly a superior chip, and the *arguably other defining performance factor, the Operating system* which, again, Apple has a supremely refined user experience, Android has better options? Did I read that right? Do you guys even think before you post? Crikey.
Seriously, if you want an iPhone 11, buy it for the fast A13, for iOS, for the super duper high 326 ppi... (oh wait... those haven't changed at all since the iPhone 6. Shame!)
Putting an A13 in here makes about as much sense as putting a V12 turbo engine into an old 50s Dodge Coronet, it just twiddles thumbs all of the time. They should've used a slower A13 LE and offered the result for less (like $599).
Don't buy the iPhone 11 for the camera, or you'll shoot yourself in the foot. The colors are dull and washed out, lacking contrast, there's oversharpening... You can get midrange phones for half the price, which take better photos, and often even have a telephoto lens, which is lacking here.
While it's nice that Apple finally added a Night Mode, which all others already introduced many years ago, the results are still far from good.
Main problem: Especially with the street pictures, you'll often find such an extreme yellow tint below light sources (e.g. street lanterns), it looks like someone emptied a can of yellow paint there.
If you zoom in on the Night Mode photos, you'll notice they're quite soft due to aggressive noise reduction. The photos without Night Mode don't have noise reduction (and thus considerably more noise), but they often retain more fine detail (at least where it's not too dark).
Nice try for the very first attempt at a Night Mode, but there's still ample room for improvement. In the current state, it doesn't even come remotely close to Huawei, Samsung, or whoever else.
So Apple fans will have to wait another year for the iPhone 12, to finally get a decent Night Mode - which likely won't be made available to the iPhone 11, just like the current Night mode won't be made available to the XS, X and below.
Shaan, 28 Sep 2019Once you have used an OLED panel, there's no going back to LCDs. I beg to differ a decent lcd screen is much better than a poor quality amoled with banding issues across colours on low brightness.... I’ve never seen a bad apple lcd screen.... I’ve seen some terrible amoled screens with horrible quality on low brightness in a dim room
Honestly..... I’ve used huawei and their eco system.... I’ve used Samsung and their eco system and I’ve used a pixel phone in an android eco system and do you know what....for a creative professional on the go none of them do it better than apple
You can buy an iPhone 11 with AirPods , series 3 smart watch and iPad Pro for less than a s10 , galaxy watch , galaxy buds and tab s6 and the apple ecosystem is a great place to be
I’m still waiting for real creative apps like luma fusion and affinity for android , the apps on android are just second class to what iOS offers and the way apple stuff just works together is superb
The iPhone 11 is a solid all round phone at a fair price with a ticket to the best eco system for creative professionals backed up with great customer services and warranty
People will bang on about but it doesn’t have this feature it doesn’t have that feature from android.... but them phones don’t run iOS ... they don’t have the Apple Watch.... they don’t have the iPad Pro and they don’t have the software that creative pros need in terms of audio , video and photography
