I think ours is band 5 and 8, and they maybe just by chance weaker on that frequency bands.

I also didn't said about speed, it's network strenght on bad reception area. Our lte network is trash, barely pass 5Mbps on busy hour no matter what we use (any brand of phone, usb modem, wifi modem, and that one with small parabola receiver).

Making it worse, out of 6 big cellular player, only one got full signal in my neigborhood, and one other at 2-3 bar. So, network strenght is important factor, and OUR experience show that phone with mtk is simply got weaker reception in OUR district. Do note MTK devices still got full signal outside / on top of building

We got benchmark test result and people still saying these things?
From the very beginning the G90T is speculated to be between SD712 and SD730, performance wise. So far its pretty accurate.

But as you have only grievances against MEDIATEK, allow a little also to present to you one of the wonderful assets of this Helio g90t: Do you know that the precision of the GPS chip that equips this Helio g90t has a precision of 2 meters maintained ??? and can you tell me a Qualcomm chip that makes it better ???

I used a Oppo A3 for some time (realme's cousin) and was often able to get better LTE bandwidth than a Mi A2 (Snapdragon 660).
It was very unexpected for me as P60 is cat 7 and SD660 cat 12.

That wasn't Mediatek's goal...
Mediatek would compete with Adreno 618.

But you're ridiculous too when you talk about SD675's GPU!
It's Adreno 612...not 616
And it's performances are far behind!

I'd love to get this phone to replace my existing Redmi Note 4 but the RN8 Pro is too large and heavy for my small hand(my RN4 with 76mm width is already a bit too wide for me). I would also appreciate a SD730G version, but MTK Helio G90T is fine, and I'm suprised by the G90T's efficiency considering it's 12nm, as seen in the battery test

The most overrated SoC Helio G90T, here in the Philippines many self-proclaimed techies are arguing with G90T's Mali-G76MC4 is comparable to Adreno 630, as for the performance test it only did slightly better (2-4 higher) scores than Adreno 616.

Maybe the CPU did just like SD675 but not its GPU.

And another problem about mtk chipset is their weaker signal reception for telkomsel, indosat, and smartfren (ind) provider. On area with bad signal qc, kirin, or even unisoc and sc got 2-3 bar while mtk usually got 0-1 and ind network quality for non urban area is atrociously bad. This is hard truth, tho I heard g90t fix some of networking problem.

Some of my friend may buy one and I will ask their impression before trusting mtk again. I bought 2 mtk devices, one redmi with x10, another is realme with p60, both were amazing for price, as long as I connected via wifi

Hmmm what to say.
250 bucks for a phone which have a little bit better benchmark score than Samsung Note 9 which still cost from 699 to 1300 euros in some vendors in our country sounds pretty avesome.
The rest is just a evry nice tale worth of dreaming for.

The price of this phone is waaay too good to be true. Until Xiaomi decided to make changes on how they're going to stock this phone up in Indonesia, the market price WILL always be much more expensive than the official price from Xiaomi themselves.
