You forgot to mention the time the phone takes to process 64 Mpx photo. Usually, when You wrote about these Quad Bayer cameras there is an issue of having to wait a few seconds before You are able to take another shot. Is it the same with this one or they finally figured a way to shorten the processing time?

athron, 06 Oct 2019So really no heating issue with gaming which most youtuber tested which might reach 50 degree C?Depending on the country tested in (ambient temp)
South Asia has daily temp exceeding 36C, so no surprise at all if can reach 50C

All these review should state tested at ambient 16C/20C/etc

TheWanderer, 05 Oct 2019Hitting the blunt too hard there, buddy. If mediatek is supposedly better than qualcomm why do... moreMaybe they have a few products that it can be called competitive? Also people think ignore that mediatek lives from the feeds of the new binaries, yes, not only qualcomm lives from feeds.

TheWanderer, 05 Oct 2019Hitting the blunt too hard there, buddy. If mediatek is supposedly better than qualcomm why do... moreThat's the irony here they are going that direction with the p60,p90 and G90t....

To even add to this point it was mediatek that forced Qualcomm to make good midrange chips/budget chips Qualcomm was almost completely absent in these segment back in the day...

Let's not forget.. better product does not equal increased market share brand perception etc has its role

Another great budget device from Xiaomi, again, well done!So much hatred towards MTK..cannot believe it.Judging by GSMA review, this chipset performed brilliantly..hopefully many other devices will come soon with MTK chipsets..Xiaomi showed the way

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2019So does SD730... The GPU gaps has always been significant between midrange and flagship chip, ... moreThe gap between "flagship" SoC's to midrange whose more than 50% in GPU performance back three years ago when all the fuss started (with X20 and S650) today unfortunately it's the same o. So to put it simple it's much better to buy last year flagship or even two years old one than a flagged brand new midranger if your sole purpose is a GPU performance (and bang for buck's in that department).

TheWanderer, 05 Oct 2019At least Qualcomm releases the source code to the publicThink a little!

Qualcomm abuses because OEM are forced to get their licences as it's standard (not an idea, judges decisions!) ...(in 2016, Qualcomm maked 600% profits on patents! Only 15% with soc)
What will happen if Mediatek disappear?
Do you think Qualcomm's price will stay?
Ask Qualcomm to reduce profits percentage on patents to the same level of their soc...it's ethic and fair, it's justice for competitors.
With normal patents fees, OEM can probably save about 15 dollars on 400 dollars devices...chips prices will probably grow a little, but not by 15 dollars, and competitors will be able to exist.

Maybe you use a NVIDIA graphic card on your PC?
Do you know why NVIDIA don't make soc for smartphones?
Answer is here : https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_19_4350
We can talk about many others, Texas Instruments, Intel, LG, ST-Microelectronics, Broadcom...

What about moral? Ethics? Fair behavior?
Will you support a soccer team if it plays with kalachnikov?
You don't want other compagnies able to compete with Qualcomm?
Technically, it's easy for Mediatek to ask TSMC for 7nm process...
They can do...
They can use G76mc12 instead mc4, not a problem...
Their AI and ISP are allready better than Qualcomm's...
If they do, they won't sell anything! So they don't...

You spread debunked rumors...
Some other people still spread GPS issues...that's crazy, this is false since many years! These people are incompetents and don't even know what they're talking about!
See who you protect!

Seeee! Mediatek Helio G90T isn't half bad. Battery Endurance is excellent and Antutu scores are near SD845.

I don't care about source codes. I don't know what to do with it and you shouldn't know what to do with it. Just use stock like everyone else.

Mikey, 04 Oct 2019The video section mentions nothing about stabilisation. Surely it can stabilise 1080p videos, ... moreSame opinion. Video stabilisation info is missing.

Since it's MTK, what about Xiaomi's official statement about Android updates.

GSMA should yet update specs(global).

Let me eiiiiiiiiin, 05 Oct 2019Well, if you read chain reply before that, I wrote ± "I bet it's losing to sd820 in gp... more">: It is with respect to this part of our discussion a lower one that I answer by this message below".
...
Sorry for the lack of link here. Anytime I have logged this data from GSMarena for each of the phones mentioned in my answer, so you can compare yourself to the gsmarena website (because I'm not going to get this information elsewhere).

On the other hand, when you say that the GFX 3.1 tests performed on these Smartphones mentioned are on screens displaying in Quad HD, instead of the FHD; Well, I want to say that we must obviously test smartphones in their own settings as configured at the factory.
So if a smartphone in 2k has a lower performance compared to another in FHD, to say that it is because of the QHD that it is less efficient is the combination and is not fair play, so the argument to lower the definition to reduce it to unfair FHD. Because if you compare two devices it must be done in their basic configuration without making any changes beforehand, otherwise the test is biased.
