Even when you zoom in, the quality is good. Add a little saturation with editing, and you have a DSLR level photo. I expect the same quality, if not even better, from the more expensive Mi Note 10. Low light photos are probably going to suck, yes. Mi CC9 Pro sucks at night. When you zoom in just a little, you see that everything is blurry. Using flash might fix this a bit, but it would be better if it worked well without flash.
Is it possible to take 27 megapixel raw photos?
CompactPhones5ever, 06 Nov 2019So let me get this straight: - It has way weaker chipset than X2 Pro - It has worse battery ... moreYep, X2 Pro is significantly better than this overhyped phone. Xiaomi dropped the ball again it seems.

Go for it.
So the hype is ended. For me Huawei P30 Pro is better option, only little more expensive and much better.
harwey, 06 Nov 2019I hear you, mate.I agree about the quality of the initial samples.but I do believe they're onto... moreIn a few months there will be a new sensor thats way better. Its just marketing..
What we need are better low light shots and good 4K video.
But it seems that the daylight shots here are pretty good although the dynamic range is on the low side and the video quality is nothing special
CompactPhones5ever, 06 Nov 2019So let me get this straight:
- It has way weaker chipset than X2 Pro
- It has worse battery ... moreTrue words ! Also this makes the Mi 9T Pro an obvious choice for about 320 Euro (6/64gb version) or ofcourse the Realme X2 pro for 399 Euro..
550 Euro for a SD 730G device ha ha ha ha. Chinese bullshit.
Iwontbuythat, 06 Nov 2019I agree that other than camera, this phone doesn't offer much. But I still have to see camera ... moreThe dayshots are quite good.. the low light (which is where you get what you pay for) are mediocre at best (because of the way too small pixels - cant beat physics)
Beware that the claimed 5x optical zoom is fake.. Its 3,7x zoom upscaled to 8 mpix and thereby 5x zoom (no bullshit !)
CompactPhones5ever, 06 Nov 2019So let me get this straight: - It has way weaker chipset than X2 Pro - It has worse battery ... moreI agree that other than camera, this phone doesn't offer much. But I still have to see camera samples to compare. If they are as good as S10+ or Huawei P30 Pro, then this phone has something to offer.
Can someone explain what's the difference between the 7P and the 8P Lens ?
Like how this little thing justify a premium version of the same phone
Xiaomi what have you done ? Stick to cheap phones where you belong !
Compare this to OnePlus 7T ? What are you smoking ??

Please guys what's the title of the games he was playing
So let me get this straight:
- It has way weaker chipset than X2 Pro
- It has worse battery life than X2 Pro
- Its camera is, at best, only slightly better than the one of X2 Pro
- It even misses many some flagship features of X2 Pro like 90Hz screen or 50W charging
- And it actually costs way more than X2 Pro
Oh, how mighty have fallen... I remember the days when Xiaomi devices used to have absolute killer price/performance ratio... Now they're pricing their phones as if they were luxurious brand like Apple or something.

As i look through the sample, co... moreI hear you, mate.I agree about the quality of the initial samples.but I do believe they're onto something with this new huge sensor.Sam&Xiaomi didn't invest millions in it for no reason. In a month there'll be few updates and I do believe pic quality will improve massively, plus MiUI is brand new,it needs some tweaking too...after all, this sensor is designed to be installed in the new Galaxy S11,of course, with few upgrades, after they see how it's performing with Mi Note....but,as you said you'll be getting this Mi for half the price..
camera layout position looks so weird, why dont you put them in square position xioami....
Camera is amazing. Detail level not available for most flagships like Galaxy S10 or even iphone 11. I would like to see comparasion with Mate 30 PRO - in this time this two phones has no competitors.
