Some from Sony which I believe(might be wrong though) is also produced based on Samsung's own design like "Samsung producing Qualcomm's 820,835 possibly 865 chipset"

It was on whether Samsung sen... morelook, my very first comment was like, redmi note 8 produced the worst images from recent xiaomi phones. then everyone dragged me out of the track, some said about software, some said about quad bayer, some brought here Sony and what not? yet I tried to make my stand clear and all in vain. there is a proverb, don't argue with fools, first they will drag you down to their level and then defeat you. Now I am Defeated.

Point 1: Samsung uses their own sensor for S series and It produces great image. So how are Samsung sensors garbage ? Or now, are you going to say Samsung S10 produces garbage image ?
Point 2 : iPhone is producing better image than Sony though Sony gave iPhone weaker sensor(this was your information) and kept the best for Sony itself. So, hardware isn't everything.

He doesn't know about quad byer.... moreI know very well how quad Bayer works, and the result is hilarious, always worse than the native 12MP sensors. when it bins 4-in-1 then its 12MP, otherwise it's a gimmicky 48MP with 0.8micron pixels. Pixel binning only helps in low-light imaging, a little in improving dynamic range. otherwise, it's useless. even after binning, the images are not that brighter as Note 10+ or iPhone11.
