For a matter of 30 bucks or so xiaomi can win this one easily, simply the X2s more expensive (and update friendly) processor and screen are worth more than the 30 bucks.
Xiaomi knows that people are cheap and have no appreciation for the better stuff and acts accordingly, no wonder why k30 gets a cheaper display from k20.
Both are good phone, x2 better but also more expensive (RP to RP). Take x2 if you can find it at the same price as rn8p in your country, or choose rn8p if price diff is even more than stated here.
Having said that, the x2 seems to be priced closer to the k20.
zetajf, 31 Dec 2019i think you mixed up x2 and x2 pro
x2 pro is another beast compared to puny redmi note series... moreOwh gosh.. u didn't read that he wrote Realme XT (which is cheaper than X2). So comparing R8Pro to X2 sooo unfair in Indonesia. The gap is even more than comparing Note 8 Pro to XT.
The price in Indonesia: R5Pro < N8Pro < XT
zetajf, 31 Dec 2019i think you mixed up x2 and x2 pro x2 pro is another beast compared to puny redmi note series... moreNope. X2 Pro using s855+ with 90hz. I know that x2 is not yet official in Indonesia. But I just stated that realme Xt is more expensive in here yet using s712. And I assume X2 (s730g) will more expensive than xt.
I say pay a bit more & get X2 Pro instead. Killer phone at that price.
I prefer miui so for me better is redmi. Also they put mediatek inside and I love to see another great chipset, not just sd.But both phones are great and for us is good to se competition and not just monopoly from one company.
Realms X2 is better choice for Indian customers as they have to pay only 2k and it is worth expending extra for getting better display, better camera ,faster charging, similar battery life, better update support and more power efficient chpiset.
Nothing can be Compared to Realme in terms of its Price with that much of Specifications. For me Realme is a winner
Finally, a 64MP camera showdown I've been waiting. My vote goes for the Realme because of its punchier colour and less oversharpening than the Redmi. Makes me wonder if it's the chipset ISP and the camera software algorithm that leads to this result.
I'd choose Realme X2 just because of the screen. Can't stand LCDs anymore.
Simple conclusion You can't go wrong with any of them
And Gsmarena can you do Note10+ VS Mate 30 Pro and Y9 Prime 2019 review please I have been begging for this since july
Good article, at least for me that shifted from Redmi devices to Realme devices. So far I like ColorOS is near to stock experience rather than MIUI. I own Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 7 and now Realme 5 Pro. Redmi has good hardware quality, and so does Realme. In camera perspective, I prefer Realme even is sometimes is oversaturated without Chroma Boost, why? because I don't need to retouch again using Snapseed or Instagram.
One thing I curious is about AOSP support. Does it will be able for both device officially? and how good will the AOSP rom will perform? I have good experience with Redmi Note 3, since I don't like MIUI, the AOSP is fullfil my expectation, and I'm still use RN3 until now as my second daily driver with AOSP rom.
When you look a price in Europe, it would seem more fair to compare Realme X2 (about 280 Euro) to Xiaomi Mi 9T (270 Euro)..
Redmi Note 8 Pro at about 195 Euro in Europe is insanely good value.
IpsDisplay, 31 Dec 2019G90T and 730g definitely not a tie in performance Too much Snapdragon bias , oh well let's ... moreUse gcam with a good configuration results in a great photo compare to the default cam
X2's competitor is mi 9t, at least by AliExpress price. And situation with them wouldn't be so clear cut
