Really not impressed with the iPhone 11 Pro's selfies, for a phone of that price and given how the marketing is largely based around its awesome cameras, one would definitely expect better.
On the other hand, the Asus' selfies are pretty damn good for a phone in that price range.

Funny, I find the complete opposite to what you say. Samsung has heavy image processing on the front camera. Very little detail, especially in low light. OnePlus was always sharp and good detail.

Oneplus camera is terrible due to the fact Oneplus knowingly soften images. Selfies taken on Oneplus devices don't have details and selfies are blurry.

I have used selfie camera once or twice in my entire life, no joke... It would be interesting if some manufacturer decided to do some kind of 'functionality' line of phones that would drop these mainstream features like selfie camera (or at least make it extremelly small sensor that would go into top bezel, for possible video calls), make a good old full aluminium body instead of the colorful glass back, add 1 or 2 programmable buttons, make the battery removable and entire phone easily disassembled with screws only (no glue) with original parts available on its website for a reasonable price and maybe even make the camera modular with lets say 5 slots, so that the phones would ship with only the main sensor, and you could add either telephoto/ultrawide/macro/ToF/whatever based on your needs...
It's obviously never going to happen but it would be interesting...
