3 rear cameras is enough for me. Don't need useless 2mp micro and bokeh. Fone makers should just give us main, wide and telephoto lenses at the rear
There are many mobile phone users - perhaps more the older generation, who are not interested in playing the latest, most power hungry 3D game, but who want a phone with a decent camera so they don't need to lug an SLR and multiple lenses around. They also don't want to worry about the battery giving out part way through the day, but probably want the wi-fi and the GPS to be reliable. They want all that at a reasonable price. The labels of flagship, and flagship killer are just not relevant to them.
Guess what? this phone meets those requirements and Xiaomi have filled a market niche. Frankly, I'm just surprised that no-one else thought about it sooner. The makers of compact and compact zoom cameras, have been watching their market dissolve for some time now. Phones like this will accelerate their demise.
So, taking a slightly different tack to the reviewers; I'm surprised that Xiaomi went for a curved screen, the in-screen fingerprint reader, or the glass back. Those really are not important features for the sort of consumer that I've been describing. If instead they had put that money into a higher pixel count on the macro camera, or made it even more affordable. then they would have had an irresistible product .
Why is it that the initial review's photos were significantly better and sharper, it's as if this test unit is faulty. Review is not in line with other camera tests
Vivi, 14 Aug 2020May I ask if it is okay that my Xiaomi mi note 10 gets warmer every time it's plugged for... moreit's normal, especially with quick charging going full throttle if start charging from low power level. the heat got to go somewhere and it's better for it to go outside than stay in. it should cool down around 85-90% tho when the charging speed slows down.
May I ask if it is okay that my Xiaomi mi note 10 gets warmer every time it's plugged for charging? Is it normal that it gets warmer when it is charging? Is that still healthy? That's I'm not using it while I'm changing it,I did not use it ..data or wifi is off...thank you.

It's so good and clean that at first, I thought I messed up the application. Only to find out half an hour later that the screen protector was on the phone. It was placed so well, I couldn't see it!

Usman, 12 May 2020It is a flag ship phone? It has a mixture of flagship capibilities and mid-range capibilities, so kind of
Sorry, but the fingerprint scanner is nowhere NEAR as good as a capacitive one. I have never experienced one that is this bad. The one on the P30 Pro works well. The one on the Mi Note 10 is so bad, I can't even get it to save my thumb.
People slated the OnePlus 7T camera layout which I think looks great. Yet the layout on this Xiaomi Note 10 phone just triggers me why on earth is one of the lenses seperated from the rest and not in the bump just looks weird and would be a deal breaker for me. Luckily I already have the OnePlus 7T and don't really take photos anyway so I'm happy with the extra performance on my 7T.
... and not a word about one of his big weakness : recording in 4k resolution ??
All of the records in 4k30 are laggy/jerky and hard to see. Mediocre for shooting videos, and no fix from Xiaomi. That's what i call a big issue.
Luqman151102, 10 Feb 2020Lol ...🤣of course not bruhh....😌....go research at YouTube .....see... moreMiui is way better tha oxygen Os,miui has alot of customization options which oxygen os doesnt even have
"but the Mi Note 10 definitely feels like one of the most interesting concepts of 2019 in the mobile world, even if you're not likely to have thought of it that way."
This is one of reason why I prefer to read news from Gsmarena.
Anonymous, 07 Feb 2020Is it better than oneplus in software Lol ...🤣of course not bruhh....😌....go research at YouTube .....see how fast OnePlus software and stable that Oxygen OS in OnePlus....did your know Oneplus more focus at raw performance... That why oxygen os are fast.....OnePlus just pretty bad at camera only...🤓
As for bugs - im personally having difficulty with the onscreen fingerprint scanner. It usually takes me few tries to get it right.
And the accelerometer - this device was never accurate in measuring the number of steps - it is almost useless.
These 2 bugs, and because of the lag is making me look for alternative. Looking forward to what the mi10 pro or the s20 ultra may offer.
