I'm not going to go into total rant, I'll save that for Huawei customer service. I'm disappointed with two things.
1. I rather the phone open up like a book to reveal the screen. I can see it now little metrial, scratches from being slid around, can't utilize it with a phone magnet.
2. Where is the stylus or M pen? They make thec2ng Gen phone with no stylus port??? No clip in pen or cubby area? They're not thinking ahead. SMH.

Huawei has built and has the capacity to build top notch hardware. Should the US government treat it fair and well, It has the resources to develop software and application Eco system that can counter IOS and Android. Its good for we consumers too.

Do you even know the materials of the mate xs, it's expensive, it's not for everyone. Im a pretty rugged person, yet my mate 7 still survived, along with my mate 10 pro and p30 pro, but the last samsung i had, you know what the issue is, the motherboard and it's software, im talking about the galaxy s6 edge, crappiest phone ever, only loaded with features but very fragile, it's so bad that it gave me the impression that all premium chinese brands are better than korean's. I guess you're entitled with your opinion and im entitled with mine.

About you being a christian, it's not too late to learn, eventually you will realize that the religion you are following is a hoax. Jesus is not equal to the creator, nor is he the messiah. That is another topic though.

As an x christian, i have no idea about the naming scheme of huawei, nor do i think about it as idolatrous.

I (and probably most people) understand that foldables are not ready for the common consumer yet (if ever), but I think the Mate Xs is the best we have currently.

GSMArena staff, Its slightly off topic, but you can wear the Smartband in the opposite/ inverse way, and its far more convenient to lock-in that way...

Excalibur, 25 Feb 2020If it werent for us bans, huawei would've scrubbed the floor with samsung. If you exclude usa,... morenever even if huawei weren't banned were not going to be number one manufacture by volume. i also have Huawei paper weight phones that are dead and i am still using my galaxy s 2 phone. going strong. your point does not hold water because it boils down to how you handle your phone. we hold phones differently. mate x is not durable haha how do you know that? the first mate x has been having issues since released in china. the chinese people are struggling to buy it. in hong kong it is being sold for 3500 dollars. that tells you the logistics of Huawei i mentioned above. struggling to sell the device to their own people. thats lame. you have never seen anyone with mate x and you call it durable stop lying. that phone is a flop. plus the screen bends outside very scary looking phone in my opinion. meanwhile galaxy fold is still selling and the ne z flip is also selling. Huawei is a infant..a company that started manufacturing phones in 2008 will never beat a company that started in 1985. they were banned because they rush and are thieves they are not settled just like a toddler. that ban is part of their failure, shows how immature they are. plus i will never use Huawei phones because their cpus are satanic. they are named after gods. "kirin" means beast , the devil. as a christian thats a no go area.

They are able to ship their products all over the world so clearly their logistics work.

The Mate Xs has improvements from the X, read the review you're commenting on. The older model will always loose value when a new model comes around. Just like the Galaxy S10 took a hit when the Galaxy S20 came out.

So Samsung deliberately made the Fold worse than it could have been? :D Now that's funny! And stupid!

Samsung mobile department since 1985? That is technically true although their first phone (SC-100, car phone) wasn't out until 1986 and it was a complete failure due to poor quality, just like the Galaxy Fold! :D Huawei has been around since 1987, although they started with telecommunications equipment.

Read all the reviews of the Mate XS that came out today. Every single one of them prefer the Mate XS to any other folding device out there, including the puny attempts from Samsung.

Samsung also has ALOT to learn, it failed miserably with the galaxy ... moreAmazing how most reviewers are trying to hide the exposed protective layer on the Mate Xs that can be peel off. Also there are gaps between the screen and the hinge when fold and unfold. The screen looks like it's warping all over.

If you exclude usa, huawei is no. 1. I used to like samsung, but samsung up to this day for me has the worst hardware ever. I have a lot of samsung phones that are literally paper weights because of poor harware durability, however with my very first huawei phone the mate 7, which is almost 10 year old now, i havent experienced any major hardware issue that impede the phone from working.

Mate xs may be expensive but its highly durable. True we may need extra care for foldable phones, but for now, mate xs has the most reliable harware, not to mention features, on a phone.
