What’s better the Reno 3 pro from December or this new one with the dual camera ?
According to Gsmarena reviews:
===================================
1400 Euro --> Samsung S20 Ultra = 4 stars
375 Euro --> Oppo Reno 3 Pro = 3.8 stars
===================================
This Oppo looks bargain for its price.
Only 5% lower score but 1/4 of price of Ultra.
For me this is Phone of Year so far considering Price/Performance ratio.
.
I don't like where these phone makers are heading first they removed headphone jack even though most expensive wireless earphone are no match for wired ones then slapping multiple average camera rather than a good main camera now they are replacing glass build with plastic 😥
Love the Community, 03 Mar 2020I see you haven't read through the entire comment section full of people telling the same thin... moreOh so that's the reason. Thank God. I'm relieved.
Fine... Eagerly awaiting it.

Their new audio test room is not ready yet. They got the new equipment but it takes time to set it all up.
GSMArena, Why is there no audio quality test in both reviews, Galaxy S20 Ultra and Reno3 Pro?
Strangely, you didn't even talk anything about it, just ignored it.
If this is a trend, I'm hating it! Please bring it back.
If not for these 2 reviews, kindly try for IQOO3 5G review..
Nick, 02 Mar 2020What sense does it make you review poppo, xiaomi, realme and the rest of the chinese brands ? ... moreGsmarena is a global website. It's not a europe only website. I would wager Asians make up more than a substantial chunk of their reader base which is why so many Chinese phones are reviewed.
I don't think they are that unfair to the other brands as they make sure to review every iPhone that launches, all the Samsung flagship devices and a fair bit of midrange Samsung devices.
Sony launches barely 2 devices a year so those also get reviewed and only the LG flagships get reviewed cause their mid range devices are plain bad.
So I believe that gsmarena is pretty professional in the variety of phones they review.
Hildr, 02 Mar 2020I don't think max brightness is limited by the technology. It's more of a settings decided by ... moreAgree with you about OLED life span and blue pixel. But what I meant that the manual mode of Reno 3 pro is higher than even latest Galaxy’s s2s (manual mode 389), Reno 3 pro (500+) when it comes to auto yeah s20s win, but nit by that big different. I think the only way to keep OLED usable for long use by using only auto brightness and no manual brightness.
PengHo, 02 Mar 2020Well K20 Pro does not necessarily have better cameras than the Oppo Reno3, can't just compare ... moreK20 pro has working gcam for all three camera sensors.
Much better photo quality plus after a year of updates, the battery has improved even further and all bugs fixed and still more powerful chipset than Mediatek p95.

What sense does it make you review poppo, xiaomi, realme and the rest of the chinese brands ? Last i read gsmarena was a Bulgarian based team of editors, so you guys and ladies should know very well those phones don’t sell in europe. It’s either the iPhone for the ones who afford it, or samsung who has broad enough range to cover from the 200 euro device up to the 1000+ euro one. What else do people in Europe buy ? Not much. Are there any people that genuinely buy xiaomi, meizu, vivo. Yes, the very poor ones, not sure why you try to target them, as they buy solely based on price. Who cares about the oppo reno ? Frankly nobody. Perhaps some folks from India or China might do, but guys, those markets are high volume, low price, worst possible combination for any respectable phone manufacturer. If you want to go that route and become gsmarena.india, fine, say it aloud: we are done with mainstream, that is EU and US, as we will be mainly focusing on developing countries from now on. Be professional for gods sake.
Not the phone I was hoping to see, as it's not really the successor of the Oppo Reno2 or even 10x zoom. The actual flagship would be the Find X2 then.
At least this post showed up and the Sheepsungs complaining about the S20 Ultra and mocking iPhone 11 series are now quite...gone. Thanks GsmArena!
Images look fuzzy especially left hand side,horrible
This phone is like basically the Reno3 Z rather than the Reno3 "Pro"....It is basically just an upgraded Reno2 Z.
1. No Nokia OZO/Audio Zoom/Multi mic like on Reno 10x/Reno2 series
2. Front camera F/2.4 lens is a disaster as far as low light is concerned
3. What the hell happened to the night mode? It works fine on the Reno2 Z so there's probably a software error there
4. There's no OIS whatsoever and this camera uses EIS for all it's magic. Though, lack of OIS does not impair the Helio P90/95 (The Reno2 Z still clicks excellent shots).
5. 5X hybrid zoom, meaning there's no upgrade over the Reno2.
6. We're now going from metal frame and glass backs (Reno2, Reno 10X zoom), to polycarbonate frame and glass backs (Reno Z/Reno2 Z) to Polycarbonate frame and Polycarbonate back (Reno3 Pro).
7. The European/Australian/NZ version of this phone will probably have NFC, so I'm going to forgive that for now.
The Reno 10x zoom and Reno2 are global phones i.e. you can buy these in any region and you'll get the LTE bands for all the countries these devices are sold in. That has always been the case for the R and Reno flagships. This is the first flagship Reno phone that is not being sold as a global phone.
There's nothing in the Reno3 Pro for those who already use the Reno2, Reno2 Z or the Reno 10X zoom. Most likely, this model is the phone that will be released as Reno3 Z in China....but at least it runs Android 10. The use of polycarbonate implies serious cost cutting, and it is obvious it is a cheaper end phone being sold as a Reno...
The weird part is that the Reno 10X zoom remains the leader and highest performing Oppo phone while the Reno2 is still the best all around Oppo phone (for now).
Oppo Reno3 Pro can you add in camera and video tools!
I thought Realme UI 1.0 was something new because I compared it to ColorOS 6.1, but now seeing ColorOS 7, it's almost the same thing except the notifications panel.
