IMO the tri-fold is actually the only reasonable folding phone style.
In a folded state you can use a relatively small 16:9 screen and when you unfold it, tripling the size, you'll get a similar aspect ratio, so you still can use fullscreen for videos.

Still, until we have a major revolution in battery capacity and foldable screen protection, folding phones will be there just to showcase the technology, not really for everyday use.

This type of tri fold is stupid. The screen is unprotected outside.
