It has proven to improve drastically the cameras for phones like LG V20/30/40/50, Razer phones, Umidigi phones, and OnePlus phones. It doesn't require root and it's a simple download/install. What phone do you use? You can Google search if your phone has a GCam port.

Also the camera processing n... moreHonestly I don't really mind about Mi Note 10's stock camera processing since I'll just put a GCam on it and call it a day. GCam ports had some issues with colour processing and speed on Mi Note 10, but this one is a high end device with SD865 therefore should pack enough power to process 27MP photos in an instant.
Also coming from a regular P30, I never really cared about a video recording capability because I just don't shoot videos so often (and besides, when I really want to, I have S10 with me as a primary device). Proper flagships nowadays are way too expensive nowadays, and I'm ready to make some minor compromises for lower price.

So conclusion is that this phone is without google services (totally unusable) , mono speaker, has a SD quality in Netflix, and it deserved a score 4.4 and a phone (S20 Ultra) with google services, HD Netflix, and stereo speakers has a 4.0 score? Something is not correct here in the scoring methodology.

I am not a big iPhone fun, but for this amount of money I would rather choose the 11 Pro Max.... Just can't understand why anyone would buy the P40 Pro....
Hey GSMarena, this is not the first Huawei flagship with autofocus selfie camera. The Mate 9/ 9 Pro had it before.
So people goona spend 1200€ on a phone
With
1-display having 90hz refresh rate
2-average mono speaker
3- small battery
4- without having most of the popular apps
5-1080p+ resolution display
6-same cameras as previous year phone(p30 pro)
7-average 4k footage
8-last year chipset
Why can't you just be consistent on GFX test?
Some device you test both offscreen and onscreen, others you only showed onscreen result.
it's like you tried to favour some device( in this case P40 Pro) because onscreen test shows more favourable results (when compare the numbers with S20 Ultra, X2 Pro which have higher resolution)
It's frustating!
Emeline Shaw, 26 Mar 2020Hey, they upgrade the price too ;)Well that was inevitable.lol!
Asphalt-nation, 26 Mar 2020Wtf did you expect ?Better design
Better night mode
Stereo speakers
Better display resolution
Higher refresh rate
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020Maybe you need to get your eyes checked.
There is a huge difference in those two images.
P40... moreAs I already said the the dynamic range is better on S20 Ultra, but then the texts look sharper and noise is better controlled on P40 Pro in the samples I linked, so it's really not bad either. And before you shift us to "which phone has a better telephoto in low light" flame war, I should repeat myself that my original argument was that P40P's telephoto lens wouldn't be as bad in low light as you would think (and you said it would be "garbage" IIRC). P40P's zoomed night time shots are overall inferiour in quality to S20U, but it's decent enough at this point and colour issues will be fixed in upcoming updates. So my point did stand, end of story. No more discussion is needed on this topic.
"And gcam works on Exynos as well"
It didn't work well on my Exynos S10 last time I tried it. Sure it ran, but the time taken to capture photos was quite long and the app frequently hung up in the middle of the processing which made it nigh unusable. I was able to go into the settings and change sensor settings and processing profiles, though it didn't do much to improve the overall performance. I'm sure SD variant users are having a lot of fun with it but it wasn't exactly a good experience for me, unfortunately.
You can say anything you can say to P40 but accept it, it takes the market as soon as it step on the spotlight
